Do literary works mirror societies?

Literary works include nondramatic textual works with or without illustration.

Computer programs also can be considered as literary work, one of the example is game.

When it comes to literature works, we can find it everywhere, for example, it can be books,

speeches, poetry, manuscripts, textbooks, or a brochure. Literary works is already part of

the society for thousands of years. We all read books or poetry which is part of literary

work. Books is one of the most important literary work because it educates people and at

the same time they also entertain the reads. Books are very common around us. Poetry is

also one of the important literary work because it allows the poet or any people to express

their feelings or emotion. Every people in the society express their emotions differently,

sometimes people write poems to express their happy or sad feelings to the reader and

every people in the society have unique way in expressing their emotions.

Movies and games are very popular to the millennial generations but few know that

they are also part of literary work. Movies is the visual representation of books because

most movies are adapted from famous books that is one of the factor that movies are

considered as the. Games are also one of the literary works because they have conflict or

tension.

Literary works mirror societies in many ways, it portrays the society that we live on.

Before people wrote their stories, they usually passed the stories verbally from one

generation to another. Until they wrote the stories to pass down. Even much of our history

was transposed orally through songs or spoken word. Literary work gave people the image

of how the society looks like. People can learn the important lessons from stories which can

be applied in the society and also in daily life. No stories could have no lessons or moral to

teach because the moral values is already part of the society and we must have our own

moral values. Non-fiction books or text or biography, they are literary works, they have the

stories of important figures or events in the history. The non-fiction books gives people the

image of being a successful person or being in the historic event. The success of the person

always give inspiration for young people to aspire. Every people in the society have their

inspiration or idol behind their success. Every people want to be successful and they have

their own inspiration. That are how literary influences and mirrors the society and also

being part of the society.
