MODULE AIM

To ensure that students have a knowledge and understanding of child and adolescent development
and its application in promoting positive development.

LEARNING, TEACHING AND ASSESSMENT STRATEGY

The approach to LTA is to enable you to develop as independent, autonomous learners. To


achieve this requires excellent attendance and participation in the learning activities. The
module will support you to develop an understanding of the subjects covered and use this to
demonstrate your understanding in the assessed tasks. The formative and summative
assessment tasks are designed to support you to develop and apply the skills and attributes
needed as a graduate.

in lectures and seminars; in class and group discussions and engaging in learning activities.
