PRESENTATION

WEEK 3

The teacher presents important conclusions of the presentations made by the students.
Closing conclusions such as:
1. A sea is different from an ocean. The sea is part of the ocean.
2. There are 5 oceans in the world.
3. The lakes are accumulations of water without exit to the sea.
4. Rivers are streams of water that reach the sea

After the conclusions, a video about water is presented. The objective of this video is to generate
sensitivity to the importance of water. It is also important to bring students to a basic vocabulary
they need to talk about water in general.

Week 4

In this week the introduction to the water cycle will begin. The students have touched on the
subject in previous years. However, the challenge is to approach it from the English language.
For the above, we will observe a video in which three important processes of the water cycle are
explained: Precipitation, Condensation and Evaporization.

The boys will organize the information in this organizer.


Then, they will meet in teams and elaborate with different materials, a graphic representation of
one of the processes: Evaporation, Condensation and precipitation

Week 5

The students prepare the presentation of their graphic elaboration. Four criteria will be
evaluated:
Attitude, Teamwork, Use of the English language, concept.
Physical processing will also be part of the evaluation

Week 6:

In this week the teacher will participate in the UN Model MOEAN, for the same, she will be absent.
This will be the opportunity to leave a WorkSheet of training on the concepts seen seen in the last
classes.
After holidays - Week 7:

In this week the theme of the oceans and seas will be initiated in a better way. The video
will be stopped five times, which will be pauses for the children to record the most
important information of the oceans. The note taking of the information will not be done in
the notebook. Students will write the most interesting data of each ocean on a map of the
globe, as presented below:

A song about the oceans is proposed to sing an active pause while the children show

Final moment: Work in Final Work: Brousure

In the computer room, students will seek information about the chosen location to develop
their brousure.

Week 8

During this week the didactic emphasis will be on English language skills. They will be explained
some water geoforms. The objective is for students to identify the vocabulary in English and
recognize the word in photographs. Moment 1: A match game will be held. Each student will
have a paper with a word or a drawing in their hands. In a time of five minutes students should
walk in the room looking for who has the couple of their word or their photograph. Moment 2:
The room will be a gallery of photographs. Around the walls will be glued 8 photographs of the
most important and recognized rivers and lakes in the world. The students will have a map of the
globe and as they will go through photography, they will locate on their map the places of the
photographs seen.

Week 9
Moment 1: Finish gallery activity.

Moment 2: In a second moment, the teacher will make the feedback of the exercise of
identification of the concepts and places of the world in the photographs.
Moment 3:
In the third moment of this week, the students approach the knowledge about Bogotá, a place they
will visit in a pedagogical exit. Everything will be addressed from the hydrography. First, a map of
Bogotá will be projected, pointing out some tourist places, its cardinal points and the main water
sources. Afterwards, some photographs will be presented in order to make a competition between
several teams about the use of some words in English during the visits.

Week 10

The teacher will start this week with a presentation on the difference between bays,
peninsulas, gulfs and isthmus. Some famous places of the world will be exhibited with
these characteristics.
Later, they will be divided into teams, and on a globe map, they will locate the places they
find in 8 bases located in the school. This will be an observation race.

Week 11

Students will work in the computer room looking for environmental protection initiatives for the
place they chose for their final work. They will make the brousure with diverse materials:
Cardboard, mirella, images, markers, crayons.
Week 12

Hot potato game, to assign the word in the short presentation of the final works. Each group will
tell their classmates the most important things of their place and the strategies that are
undertaken in the world to take care of them.
