C. Lesson Proper
1. Alright class, you are going to
perform an activity.
I will group you into three groups.
Each member of the group
will look for a partner.
And then each pair will get one
balloon. Inside the balloon
is some example of human activities.
Hit the balloon, and then select the
activities that affect the surface of the earth.
Then post your work on the board.
But before that what are the standards
to be followed in working on a group? Work quietly,
work neatly, work
cooperatively
and lastly, finish
your work on time.

2. Discussion
Let us discuss your work.
What human/people activities
that affect land surface? Cutting down trees
Burning Trees
Using pesticides
Dumping garbage in
the soil

What happened if the trees


are cut? It destroys the forest.

Why do people cut trees in


the forest? For their needs
How about the soil, if the
farmers used pesticides for
their crops? It destroys the quality
of soil.
