ask Him, “Who are you?” he confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the
Christ.” And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” Are you the
Prophet?” And he answered, “No.” So they said to him, “Who are you? We need to give an
answer to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself? He said, “I am a voice of one
crying out in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of the Lord,’ as the prophet Isaiah said.”
Don’t your desire to teach from the heart? The intentions of our hearts are always pure when
examined through the lens of God’s Word.
Hebrews 4:12– For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts
and intentions of the heart.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in
the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing
made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the
darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:1-5
