SAN ISIDRO LABRADOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Healthy Dessert Making contest for Grade 4. Parman family, Galia Family and Pones family enjoyed this
activity. As the participants enjoyed the contest, the judges also enjoyed on tasting the made desserts. After the
thorough scrutiny, tasting and evaluations, it turned out that the Parman Family got the first (1st) place, Galia Family
on second (2nd) and Pones Family on third (3rd) place.
Healthy Salad Making. Five (5) sections from Grade 5 were fearlessly took the challenge on making sumptuous
and delicious salad. Pupils of each sections were serious and full of guts while they are making their own creations.
After the allotted time, the judges of the said contest did their job and had the final decision. Participants from 5
Zircon, the third (3rd) placer and 5 Aquamarine second (2nd)had their sweet smiles as they received their awards but
the sweetest smiles were from the participants from 5 Crystal for they won the first (1st) place.
After lunch, Nutri-Quiz Bee was conducted. 10 easy questions were given on the first round, 5 questions for
the average and 5 for the difficult. After the tabulated scores were tallied three (3) winners were announced. Carl
Jasper M. Fabile of 3-Mapple became the third(3rd) place awardee, Daniela May P. Santos of 4-Quezon on second
(2nd) place and Naezar A. Robledo (4-Laurel) wear his best smile as he received the fruit of his profound studying by
winning the First (1st) place.
Slogan Making Contest. Interested lyric poets of San Isidro Labrador Elementary school were the participants
on this category. Each of them used their profound thinking on creating their slogan. But just the three of them shined
the best. They were Mina E. Yudico on third (3rd) from 5-Opal, Maria Theina S. Balanquit of 5-Diamond on second (2nd)
and James Ezekiel Pao Arana (6-Kingfisher), as the first (1st) placer.
On Poster Making, talented artists of the school participated. All of them did their very best to show their
talents and gave their biggest effort as they worked for their poster to win the victory and like the other contest there
should be only one whom to be called as a grand winner and that is Andrew E. Estadilla of 5-Diamond. Efforts and
dedications of Christian L. Calvario of 4-Garcia (2nd placer), Khian Ghel A. Berdan of 3-Maple and Symon C. Amul 0f 6-
Mynah on third (3rd) didn’t wasted for they also received their awards.
Healthy Fruit-Vegetable Shake Making Contest. Five (5) sections were participated. Fruit Shakes lovers from
each sections were all keenwitted on how they can make their fruit shakes to be the best. Everyone saw the
excitements on their faces while doing their fruit shakes but the intense excitements were seen the time the judges
were performing their job. After sometime of waiting for the judgement, 6-Eagle flew the highest for they won the
first (1st) place, followed by the 6-Peacock as the second (2nd) placer and 6-sparrow, the third (3rd) placer.
July 30, 2018 (second day). As the highlights of the event, a Costume Parade, Nutri-Poem Recital, Mr. and Ms.
Nutri-Healthy Contest, and Nutri-Jingle Contest were held.
The costume parade started at 7:00am followed by the program proper.
The program was started with a prayer by Ma’am Gladys P. Serada followed of the singing of the National
Anthem to the beat of Ma’am Charle Magne M. Quinlog. After the opening remarks of Sir Alvin Adriano (AM OIC), the
mechanics of Nutri-Poem Recital and introduction of the judges were done by Sir Samiel Jeffrey A. Mijares. Honorable
Chairwoman Karen Mae Hernandez-Palomique gave her inspirational message. Mr and Ms. Nutri- Healthy Candidates
had a production number after Sir Curt I. Completo delivered its (Mr. and Ms. Nutri-Healthy Contest) mechanics. The
mechanics of Nutri-Jingle Contest was explained then by Ma’am Paulyn D.C. Varila, she also introduced its judges.
After the statements of the mechanics of every contest and the introductions of the judges the performance of every
contestant had been witnessed.
Poem Recital. Kinder- Grade 2 pupils were the participants on this contest. Seven (7) participants showed
their enthusiasm on reciting a poem and three of them stands out. They are Churls Zayrence D. Cerda on first (1st),
Sandrex C. Salas on second (2nd) and Xianne Dela Pena on third (3rd).
Nutri-Jingle Contest. Three (3) groups of selected pupils participated, a group from Grade 4, a group from
Grade 5 and a group from Grade 6. Each group performed very well but the group from Grade 6 obtained the greatest
scores from the judges and so they won the first (1st) Place. The second (2nd) Place awards was given to the Grade 5
group and Grade 4 participants got the third (3rd).
Mr. and Ms. Nutri-Healthy. Eight (8) boys and 8 girls competed to win the title. Each of them showed their
talents followed by a question and answer portion where each of them proved that every silesians isn’t just good on
dancing, singing, cooking etc. but they are also intelligent when it comes to a very profound talking/s. After the
deliberations of the judges, the winner was announced as well as the special awardees.
Prince Eric P. Balce and Jeya N. Gorres were the Best in Costume awardees, Carl Jasper M. Fabile and Jhianne
M. Tausa for their talents, and for best in production; Tristan S. Trampe and Jeya N. Gorres.
For Mr. Nutri- healthy, John Joshua G. Garcer was awarded as the fourth (4th) runner up, John Paul P.
Esparaguera for the third (3rd) runner up, Prince Eric P. Balce for second(2nd) runner up, Roque Villorante first (1st)
runner up and Carl Jasper M. Fabile as the 2018 Mr. Nutri-Healthy.
Khasmer A. Berdan was awarded as the 2018 Ms. Nutri-Healthy, together with her runner ups. Jhianne M.
Tausa, first (1st) runner up; Angela L. Calvario, second (2nd) runner up; Jhiemcy R. Balansag , third (3rd) runner up and
Jana Buan, fourth (4th) runner up.
The school’s Nutrition Month Celebration this year was really one of the so called successful activities of San
Isidro Labrador Elementary School.
