COLT ~ MODEL 1851 NAVY

"SECOND GENERATION" PERCUSSION REVOLVER
UNFIRED/LIKE NEW...NO FFL REQ'D!
NO RESERVE!! Here's a beauty! This is a Colt Model 1851 Navy "Second Generation" black powder
revolver. This is one of the earlier "C-Series" Second Generation revolver (Model C1121), considered
by many to be the most desirable. This revolver is in near new, unfired condition and an exacting
reproduction of the original Civil War era revolver. It fires a .36 caliber ball (or conical bullet) and
wears a 7-1/2" octagonal barrel. It has a 6-shot non-fluted cylinder with Naval engagement scene.
The frame, hammer, loading lever, latch & plunger are beautifully color case hardened. The barrel,
cylinder, trigger, wedge and screws are brightly blued. The trigger guard and backstrap are silver
plated brass. The grip is one-piece varnished walnut. The top of the barrel is roll marked "-ADDRESS
SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY-" and the left side of the frame is marked "COLT / PATENT". In other
words, every detail is like the original!
As previously noted, this revolver is in "near new" condition. There is some minor tarnish on the silver
plated grip straps, a couple of small dings to the bottom of the trigger guard, and some small marks
on the grip. There is no rust or pitting and I'd grade this revolver at about 98% overall. This beautiful
Colt was assembled by Colt in the United States and is NOT a Uberti or some other Italian knock-off.
It comes in the original styrofoam box insert (the cardboard outer box is long gone). The 1851 Navy
was manufactured between 1971-1978 and was the first "regular production" Second Generation
revolver that Colt made. A beautiful gun and best of all, no FFL is needed!

Buyer pays $20.00 shipping. This is a black powder "cap & ball" revolver and as such, no FFL is
required for transfer and in most areas it can be shipped directly to the winning bidder. There are
exceptions (New Jersey, New York City, Illinois, etc) where an FFL transfer may still be required.
Please know your local laws before bidding. Bidder must be a minimum of 21 years old and willing to
provide proof of age with payment.
SORRY, BUT I CANNOT END ANY AUCTION EARLY……PLEASE DON'T ASK!

State Restrictions. If the handgun in this auction is not on the current California Roster of Certified Handguns, please do not bid! The list
can be checked here: CALIFORNIA HANDGUN ROSTER. C&R Handguns are exempt from this restriction however California law will NOT
allow shipment of C&R HANDGUNS direct to a C&R holder in the State of California, a licensed 01 dealer must be used. We can ship C&R
LONG GUNS directly to a California C&R holder but only if that C&R holder ALSO has a current California Certificate of Eligibility (COE).

(New Jersey, NYC, etc.)
