Activity 1: Guess Who?Snapshots
1. Present different characters to the students, and let the students act out
the characters. Other students need to guess the character.

2. Tell the students that these people are very influential in our country at
the contemporary period.

Activity 2: Featuring; Aung San Suu Kyi
1. Present a video or documentary about Aung San Suu Kyi.
2. After watching a documentary film about Aung San Suu Kyi, provide the
students handouts about her life.
3. Ask the students to list down the characteristics of Aung San Suu Kyi while
reading the passage..

**Students will answer this one in a ¼ sheet of paper and let them drop their
answers in the box. (next meeting---revelation of answers.)
Evaluation:
1. Mahatma Gandhi is the very famous hero is Burma.
2. Aung San Suu KYi is a Burmese.
3. Aung San Suu Kyi’s mother is Khin Kyi.
4. Suu Kyi experienced purely happiness in Burma.
5. She established democracy in Burma.
Assignment:
a. Research about the cultures and traditions of Myanmar.
b. Bring Coloring materials, cartolina, pictures, etc.

1. Present first a video of Burma’s cultures and traditions to the students. Let
them take down notes.
2. Ask the students to write what the things they remember when hearing
the word VISION.
