    Frame 5001 Gas Turbine Operation Details

     The process of gas turbine starting is start >purge >fire >accelerate >full speed no load
     When gas turbine is started fire occurs at around 1300 rpm.Flame scanner has 1min to sense the flame
    within combustion chamber. If fire is not detected then a total of 3 more attempts are available. If the
    flame scanner cannot sense flame even after 3 attempts then gas turbine will trip
     Purge timer in Frame 5001 gas turbine is set at 2min
     During starting gas turbine that is at first GCV will be at 21%.Once fire is sensed GCV goes to 16%. Then as
    gas turbine is loaded GCV starts opening more
     When gas turbine load increases or decreases IGV angle remains the same. Only fuel flow to the chamber
    changes
     Gas supply pressure to SRV is 260 psi
     Gas pressure to combustion chamber is usually 125 psi at 12 MW
