Becoming a student at the university was not as easy as i imagined before. i

already deciding my choice to study Law since i was in High School. My
desire to study law at university is firmly rooted in my interest in world events
and also for helping others. Law effects our everyday lives almost without us
noticing. If we look at the news, there is always an aspect of law up for
debate. So, i believe that studying in Faculty of Law is the best way to
achieve my dream.

Since seventh grade I have a dream to be a diplomat, a person who

contribute to the country to connect with other countries around the world.
my first reason is very simple,i want to visit all the countries in the world and
met a lots of new people. till now, this dream is still etched strongly in my
heart. that when I graduated I have to achieve my dream . to be a diplomat.

become a student who think ahead, I realized that to be a legal expert, law
student should not only be smart in theorizing but should be able to explore
and gain the potential of themself, because that potential will bring ourself to
be an expert with good character. As a law students who will be leader for a
good change. I’m aware that college life is gold period to develop my self in
to the best personality. So i have started to get opportunity in many activities
and competitions so i get my first step.

Because a responsible, hard working and good-humoured person deeply

committed to a career in the legal profession. therefore I start to join various
organizations since i was a freshman undergraduate, I'm trying to write some
research and participate in various writing competitions that eventually led
me to win several national-level papers competition. I'm sure that kind of
activities will be a small step to bring me up one by one to the stairs that will
face my dream.

there is a quote that painted in my wall that said "A Thousand Miles begin
with one step". nobody knew that maybe I already halfway to my thousand
miles. Therefore I tried to take all the opportunities that lead me to my own
thousand miles ended.

by joining the ELC (Exploring Legal Culture) program i believe i can get my
chance to enrich my knowledge and professionally outgrowth to become a
diplomat. I believe that this program will help me to expand my knowledge
of essential matters of Public Law. I know this program from my college-sister

who had participated in this program two years ago, she also the one who
inspired me to join this great program . I am an energetic person and always
eager to do something new,so i think and i'm absolutely believe this program
is a golden bridge for me to be able to explore my potential as a candidate
for future diplomat.

This golden opportunity is an event that is very appropriate to go up one step

higher in order to achieve my dream, and I will meet a lots of new people,
exchange ideas, explore the laws system of each country and compare it,
it's gonna be worthy experience for my brighter future.

as for my qualification, Last year i had a great time with the college student
all around Asean in Philippines, we get together below an event named
International Youth Leaders Summit 2014 and discuss about Asean Economic
Community that we’re going to face in 2015. I have gained many valuable
skills and qualities as a result of my experience and feel that this will
contribute considerably to be a successful future leader.

So, i’ll not let this program through because It would be great for me to gain
this kind of experience. due to this program i would like to study about the
dynamic law in both country Indonesia and Germany. understand much
more toward specific Law issues. And raising my english skill in public
speaking.

In conclusion, I would like to say that I am eager to gain new experiences,

improve my skills and broaden my understanding of the dynamic law world,
and I am persuaded that joining Explore Legal Culture (ELC) program would
contribute to my development as a specialist of international law student in
the best possible way.

I will be happy if I get a chance of participating in Exploring Legal Culture

this year. This program is very important for my bright future ahead.
