a. Galvanized Steel :
- threaded coupling for DN 32 and smaller
- butt welding for Dn 50 and larger
b. carbon steel and low alloy steel piping :
- socket welding for DN 32 and smaller
- butt welding for DN 50 and larger
c. stainless steel piping :
- socket welding for DN 25 and smaller
- butt welding for Dn 32 and larger
d. socket weld :
- not permitted for class above 900
a. the material of strainer elements for stainless steel piping shall be same material of the class.
b. the material carbon steel piping system shall be stainless steel grade 304
a. for NPS 8 and below shall be used spectacle blind
b. for above NPS 8 shall be used spade/spacer
a. all piping shall be arranged so that the pipe length and number of joint minimized
b. posibble range ti accommodate the thermal expansion and to provide the neccesary acces for maintenance
Head Clearence :
- for main road minimum 6 m
- for secondary road minimum 4 m
- plant acces road 4 m
Horizontal Clearence :
- for main road 8 m width (additional width shoulder on both sides)
- for secondary road 6 m width
a. control valve shall not be installed directly to the next its blocks valve
b. control valve shall have by pass valve if the size is NPS 3 and smaller
c. control valve for NPS 3 and larger shall have handwheel
