Introduction

Tinto and Russo (1994) report that the success of enrollment

management programs has been only moderately successful. In traditional
way of enrolling, manual enrollment system is commonly used as a way of
enrolling students to and is continuing to be used nowadays. In manual way
of registering and enrolling students they must have to fill up first using ball
pen and an enrollment form sheet given by their teachers. By the help of
different developers and programmers, they have developed different system
about the registration and enrollment process. Computerized, online
registration and online enrollment systems that helps the school for having an
easier process of managing student information.

Also, according to Wikipedia (2014), back then the universities and large
schools in particular have created their own student record systems. One
example is the Repository of Student Information (ROSI) system at University
of Toronto. With the growing complexity in the business of educational
establishments, most organizations now choose to buy computers and
customizable software. Most information of the students used today are server
based, with the application residing on a central computer server, and can be
accessed by clients at various places, even outside the school. Student
Information System have been done to the web since the late 1990s and is
accelerating as time goes by as the institutions replaces the older system for
an accurate, secured and reliable student information systems.

The registration process is extremely pivotal for universities because

they receive tuition and fee payments through this mechanism and students
cannot receive their student aid or payment of tuition and stipends through
the other various means of reimbursement until their registration has been
verified. These systems fulfilling such a critical role and function make the
evaluation of these sorts of registration systems an important area of study.
The institutions are required to assess how effective their registration
systems are and they need to understand whether the system is performing
the tasks that it is designed to perform and whether it meets the needs of
different stakeholders, particularly the students. The Delone and McLeane
(D&M) information systems success model contends that user satisfaction
with usability of a system is “reciprocally interwoven with the ways in which
the system is used” (Delone & Mclean, 2011). Universities use a registration
system which provides various functions such as course registration, grade
reports and transcript request. Extension of this model as a means of
evaluating the usability of a registration system provided us with a solid
theoretical framework and model for further investigation of the system’s
perceived usability among users.

RESEARCH DESIGN

This study is an experimental survey method. The data collection was based on the
questionnaire distributed to the respondent and this served as the primary instrument.
The questionnaire was designed in order to accumulate enough information pertaining to
the objective of the study. The respondents for this survey were ICT students in Arellano
University.

Statement of the Problem

What is the capability of the research in terms of Functionality?

1. Does the every part of the system functioning well

2. How the system does prints the information clearly?
3. Does the system can delete the data?
4. Does the system has encountering any bug?

How do User-friendly concept by the user by using this system?

1. Is the system clear and free from ambiguity

2. How well does this system compare to old type of enrollment?
3. How confident are you to use this system?
4. How will you recommend this system when it comes to rating?

How Efficiency does this system to you?

1. How the system reacts fast?

2. How well do you know about this system?
3. How do you able to complete your work quickly?
4. Does the system can real time printing?
