(Narrative Report)
El Taco de Pico is the product that we have planned to create a business plan about it. In
line with this, we are required to make a narrative report of our business plan. Before starting up
our business plan, first, we have our brainstorming to generate some ideas for our desired product.
At first, we are challenged about picking what’s the best product because some of the other groups
have generated many ideas which cause to have similar product on us and most likely it is because
it is our first time to make a business plan. So, we come up with such suggestions like, Filipino
delicacies, native products and more. But one of my group mate suggested El Taco de Pico as our
product in our business plan. After then, as our product has already a title which is El taco came
from a Spanish word and de Pico came from a Mexican word means contained of mixed vegetables,
so we decided that we will be putting pure vegetables inside the taco wrapper and provide sauces
that serves as likely a filling and after that, we started our business plan.
As our adviser instructed as that we will skip the executive summary because it must be
the last documents we will create that consist of summary about the whole business plan. We started
creating our business plan by researching first some guidelines that can help our paper will be in
progress. Then, we begin on creating our chapter two that includes our business concept and
business model, business goals: vision, mission, objectives and performance targets. After that we
make our chapter three which is the product and a service that includes our product, what is our
product, what it looks like, its features and what would be the ingredients that is used in our taco
and also its sauce. Moreover, we also indicate there what services we could offer, the quality of our
product and services that would satisfy the taste and likes of our customer. Furthermore, our chapter
three contain of actual potential market size that describes the entire size of the market for a product
that can be available in different areas and the actual potential of our target market. Lastly, our
market plan that includes the raw materials of our product, the special benefits of our taco, our
target market which are the senior high students enrolled in Koronadal Comprehensive National
High School in the City of Koronadal. Besides, we add our SWOT analysis that stands for the
strength and weaknesses, opportunity and threat in our product. We also add the branding,
promotional and strategy; either, print ads/flyers, word of mouth, or through online (Facebook
page). The advertising and marketing is where we the proponents of this business will be using a
viral type of marketing strategy to market the product. Wherein, the proponents will relay a message
to their friends, classmates, relatives, etc. Also, it will be using a promotional material like, print
ads/ flyers, through Facebook and word of mouth to promote the product.
