What is network data?

N etwork data can have different meanings depending on the data type and use case. Coin
Metrics’ network data records all the operational and economic participant information and activity
occuring on a crypto network that can be observed by running a full node. These data span many
different categories including addresses, blockchain/digital ledger technology (DLT), flows, mining, fees
and revenue, supply, transactions, valuation and more. Our metrics are created by aggregating individual
transactions or other network-level event or entity data (typically over some defined period of time such
as daily) into summary statistics. These data reveal important details about the health and usage of
crypto networks and provide insights into the supply and demand dynamics. Coin Metrics manages
more than 30 unique crypto network nodes and more than 20 terabytes of data with replication of all
nodes and databases to ensure uptime.

network data metrics for the top crypto assets.

CM Network Data Pro is comprehensive (deep and broad), high quality (structured and accurate
metrics, transparent methods and intuitive ontology), fit-for-purpose (designed for action) and
accessible (via REST API or flat/historical data file).

Coin Metrics is currently accepting clients for its Early Access Program (EAP) to access CM
Network Data Pro. This is a paid program with an initial contract period of 12 months.
