One of the two who heard John speak and followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He
first found his own brother Simon and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which means
Christ). He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon the son of John. You
shall be called Cephas.” (which means Peter). The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found

Prayer, posture and Practicalities
1:16 PM prayer prompt – Please pray for the joy of our Lord to be our strength. (Neh. 8:10)
Prayer Triplets– Prayer triplets are three Christians committed to praying together for the
needs of their school community. Action step #4- Each prayer partner brings one request to
pray triplet time. All members pray for the request as you go around the circle. Continue until
all requests are prayed for by each member. Rejoice in your new prayer partners.
