Instructions: How to reset the management switch from the primary control station (slot_0)

Method 1

1. Log into the CS via SSH, ensure that you are logged into slot_0:
/nasmcd/getreason
10 - slot_0 primary control station
11 - slot_1 secondary control station
5 - slot_2 contacted
5 - slot_3 contacted

2.Check the system first:

/nasmcd/sbin/setup_enclosure -checkSystem

Performing Detail System check ...

System discovery on both subnets .... OK
Information: Mgmtswitches discovered in the system are:
Discovered Mgmtswitch with Enclosure ID 0 MgmtSwitch-A IP (128.221.252.50) MgmtSwitch-A MAC (00:60:16:43:da:58)

Method 2

This command automates all of the separate commands above:

/nasmcd/sbin/setup_enclosure -checkSystem [autorepair]
