Ma’am,

I am writing to express my interest to be a vounteer teacher in Alternative Learning System (ALS).

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in Technology and Livelihood Education
(TLE) in Bicol University Polangui Campus (BUPC and I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers
(LET) last September 24, 2017 with a weighted average of 82.4%.

As a Secondary Education graduate, I’ve become equipped with the necessary knowledge that come
with the position including lesson planning, classroom management, teaching strategies and styles,
good communication and other teaching concerns. My pre-service teaching at Saban National High
School also afforded me with the skills to work with some of the professional teachers, deal with
diversity of learners and be able to understand the real situation in the teaching industry. Being a
trainee has developed me enthusiasm and a true passion for teaching.

I realize how vital education is as the foundation of the youth to achieve success in all undertakings set
before them. This is why my greatest goal is to educate young people and help them blossom into well-
rounded, responsible and successful citizen.
