GENERAL INFORMATION
Application
A factory designed generator set equipped with a standard DC engine control panel. The generator
set is ready to be connected to your fuel and power line to start up once the installation completed.

Applicable Standard
Generator sets design, assembly and testing meet or exceed many international standards, such as
IEC 34-1, IEC 34-5, IEC 34-6, JEC 114, JEC 139 and JEC 146. The power rating is set in
accordance with ISO 8528, ISO 3046-1, DIN 6271 and BS 5514.

Structure Outline
The generator set has selected materials and equipment of high performance, which are durable
and anti-vibration. The assembly work meets the quality control system.

The concept of the design and manufacturing is for easy operation and maintenance, to be compact
and light weight too.

The single bearing alternator frame is coupled to the engine housing directly. With one end of the
rotor is supported by bearing and the other end of rotor shaft is connected to the engine flywheel
with a steel laminate plates.

All components and necessary equipment are mounted on the common skid base.

Rubber Isolator Mounting

The rubber isolators are mounted between engine, alternator and its common skid base.

ENGINE CONTROL PANEL

The control module minimizes the required control components and wiring
inside the panel, so as to simplify its maintenance.

The iconic symbols and LED can identify the engine status more directly
and can be easily recognized.

The analogue gauge and meter provide measurement of Coolant /Water

Temperature, Oil Pressure, Charging Ampere and Engine Operating
Hours.

STANDARD FUNCTION OF CONTROL MODULE

MODE Off This places the control module into the Stop / Reset mode. This will clear any
alarm condition for which the triggering criteria has been removed.
SELECTOR
Auto This places the control module into the Automatic mode. This allows the engine to
be started up by a remote start signal. This signal can be either from an AMF
system or a synchronizing panel system.

(A) If the engine does not start up at the first cranking, this process will repeat
for 2 times.

If the engine still failed to start up after the third attempts, the “Fail to Start”
LED will light up.

(B) If the remote start signal disappeared, the engine will stop automatically after
the cooldown running.

Man This places the control module into the Manual mode. The engine can be started
and stopped by the auxiliary manual Start and Stop push-buttons.

HEAVY Fail To Start The engine cannot be started after 3 attempts.

The total time taken is 37 sec for the whole cranking process.
ALARM When this happened, the LED will light up.
(SHUTDOWN) 2
Low Oil The engine oil pressure falls below the pre-set value, 1.0 kg/cm .
Pressure When this happened, the LED will light up and the engine will shutdown.

High Water The engine water temperature exceeds the pre-set value, 101°C.
Temperature When this happened, the LED will light up and the engine will shutdown.

Low /Over The engine speed falls below / exceeds the pre-set value, 50% / 115% of rated
Speed speed. When this happened, the LED will light up and the engine will shutdown.

Emergency Once the push-button was pressed, the engine will stop immediately.
Stop

LIGHT Charge Fail When the LED lit up, this indicates that the charging alternator is not working but
no shutdown.
ALARM
(WARNING)
COMMON Common An alarm condition has been detected, such as Sensor Fail, Fail to stop or Under
Alarm Speed. The LED flashing is for Shutdown fault and steady is for Warning.
ALARM
ANNUNCIATION Power On When the LED lit up, this indicates that DC power is supplied to the control
module.
Remote Start When the LED lit up, this indicates that a remote start signal is presented.
Present This signal can be either from the ATS Panel or Synchronizing Panel.
