INSTALLATION
1. Disassemble the GENERATOR.
2. Connect between the generator and operating panel by a communiction cable.
3. Connect to the TUBE
- Check ANODE and CATHODE of the HV CABLE, then connect the cable to tank correspond with "+", "-".
- Should apply the HIGH-tension insulation GEL before insert the HIGH-tension cable.
- When you fix the HV CABLE, Should use the connector anchor.
4. Connect the ROTOR CABLE.
- Connect to the GENERATOR's I/F BOARD after checking the TUBE's TERMINAL CONNECTION

5. Movement check
- Refer to the Pre-Installation for Generator Power requirements.
- Turn on the switch on in operation panel.
- Check the kV, mA, sec/mAs DISPLAY in generator same as normal.
- Check the Tube Focus after connecting the Tank and Tube.

7. Measure the output value
- Measure TP8(kV_FB)value on the HT CONTROL BOARD.
Instruct the 1V = 33.3kV. (example, If the TP8 is 3V, then the output value is 2*33.3kV=99.9kV)
- Measure TP4(mA_FB) on the HT CONTROL BOARD.
instruct from 10mA to 80mA is 1V = 10mA. (example, TP4 = 5V, output is 5*10mA=50mA)
Instrcut from 100mA~630mA is 1V = 100mA. (example, if TP4 = 5V, the output is 5*100mA=500mA)

8. Check the CALIBRATION


- C-2_79 : HFG kW Data
If the Data = 000 : HFG kW is 16kW
If the Data = 001 : HFG kW is 20kW
If Data = 002 : HFG kW is 32kW (Initial data) FACTORY SET
If Data = 003 : HFG kW is 40kW
If Data = 004 : HFG kW is 50kW

- C-2_80 : TUBE Select Data


If Data = 000 : Tube = Toshiba E7239X (Initial data)
If Data = 001 : Tube = Toshiba E7252X

9. ERROR AND CHECK CODE
kV[3]•mA[4] will be displayed on the setting indicator part if the problem is occurred during operating.

- Error Code
Error Code will be displayed during there is any problem happened.
it is not allowed operating to expose the X-ray during Error Code is appearing.
to clear the Error Code, permit the power again.
if the problem is not solved after permitting the power again, appeared flickering light.

※ operation principle: Power on to the power board when the switch on the
generator. if you operate the MC 1(Magnetic Contactor) in input terminal, the
Capacitor Bank will charge slowly. and then if there is OK, operate the MC2
(Magnetic Contactor).
if the MC2 does not work and the ERR 01 is appeared, please check the
below ;
CHARGING MONITOR ERROR
01 1.There is TOGGLE SWITCH on the left of I/F BOARD. the switch should ON.
(in case of under AC160V, DC
2. Check that Capacitor Bank(4700uF/400V, DC 310V) is charging slowly or

If voltage is not incleased, check the (①R1 resistance(60W20Ω), ② BR1

3.check the Power board's Fuse F6(3.15A/250V). Change them when they
are broken. (check the input power voltage of MC (DC24V))

※ operation principle: Power on to the power board when the switch on the

generator. Check the communication condition between HT cont, Board CPU
and OP board CPU. When the ERR 02 is appeared, check the below point.

1. VTP18 of HT Cont. Board should be under DC0.5V


2. At the same time, if Tube rotor is rotating and Err09 is appeared without
ROTOR CURRENT DETECTED ready, power board is defected.

ON STAND-BY 3. If the ROTOR is not rotating and Err09 is appeared, remove the CN205
connector in Power board. There is over than 1V in the TP18 of HT CONT.

kV FEED-BACK DETECTED ON 2. Check the U24(TL084) of HT Cont. Board. Change it if there is damage.

STAND-BY 3. Check -12Vdc of HT Cont Board and Power Board.
In the abnormal condition, change the Power Board.

1. TP4 of HT Cont. Board shoul be 0V.


mA FEED-BACK DETECTED 2. Check the U24(TL084) of HT Cont. Board. Change it if there is damage.

ON STAND-BY 3. Check -12Vdc of HT Cont. Board and Power Board.
If it is abnormalcondition, change the Power Board.
※ Operation principle : when the ready operation, TP18 Voltage of HT Cont.
Board is increased over 5Vdc for 0.8sec then it should keep maintaining
1Vdc.
ROTOR FAULT ON READY 1. Check the CABLE is completely connected from IF B/D to Tube.
13 2. Check whether ROTOR is rotating or not when the Ready.
STATE
3. Check AC 40V after AC220V during 0.8sec between TP7 and TP8 of PWR
B/D.
4. on the abnormal condition, check the Fuse(F2). Change it if there is
damage.

※ Operation principle : when Stand-by, TP2 of HT Cont. Board is under 0.5Vdc and
when the Ready On, it will be incresed over than 0.5Vdc. At this time, if the voltage is
not detected on TP2, Err14 will be appeared.
FILAMENT FAULT ON READY 1. Check the voltage is 110~130Vdc between TP8 and TP9 of Filament Board.

STATE 2. Check the high voltage Cable connection condition between the TANK and TUBE.
Check the Small of Large Filament of Tube is heating after SYSTEM Turn on.
3. Check the F-S, F-COM, F-L of TANK is short or not and remove the Tube bushing,
check the Com., Small, Large is all Short or not.

1. Check the damage of IGBT.


- In the eye test, if IGBT is broken or burned, it can be considered to be
damaged.
- After POWER OFF, if 200kΩ is measured on the both side of IGBT GATE,
it is normal condition. (It should be measured after remove the 4 cables
which are IGBT DRV. Voard to IGBT.)
- It should be measured -DC15V on the TEST-POINT TP13-14, TP15-16,
TP17-18, TP19-20 each of IGBT DRIVE BOARD during Power On.
It is dagamed if TEST-POINT TP is measured under -DC12V instead of -
DC15V even though it is only one.
kV FEED-BACK ERROR ON
15 2.If the LD4(Orange LED) of IGBT DRV. Board is turned on during Err15 is
EXPOSURE STATE
appeared, sub power(12Vdc) will be dropped due to the leakage of input
power.
3. Check the connection of CON107 of HT CONT. B/D is completely
connected to TANK.
4. Check the TP10(KV-REF) volume of HT CONT. B/D during EXPOSURE.
(1V=33.3kV)
5. Check the TP8(KV-FB) volume of HT CONT. B/D during EXPOSURE. (1V =
33.3KV)
6. Check the voltage between R69 and R71 is 1/2 of TP8(KV-FB) voltage.

1. Check the HV cable disconnection of Tube.

1. Check the difference betwwen setting mA value and TP4(Feed-back) via

2. Check filament of the tube is nomally heatted.
1. When Exposuring, Pulse wave form of TP5(mA_FB_F) of HT Cont. Board
AEC Mode : X-RAY TIME- should be detected. (If TP4 detected 5V, 2.5kHz pulse wave form is detected

2. If there is no detection of pulse wave form, U22 is defected

1. Check the condition of CN107 connecter between HT Cont. Board and HV


21 HV TANK INTERLOCK Error Tank.
2. Check HV Tank if GND terminal and INT.terminal is electric short.

* If it is normal when LOW kV(40kV), LOW mA(10mA) / if it is HIGH kV(over


than100kV), ERROR 22 is displayed.
1. It can be occurred when HV TANK(HV TRANSFORMOR) or TUBE are
discharged
2. When High-voltage discharge is occurred in the TUBE, it appears spark
when exposuring in the Radiation Aperture of the tube.
3. When occurring HV discharging on the HV TANK you can hear discharging
sound when exposuring.
4. It can occurred when one of two IGBT is defected or performance is
22 IGBT Fault Error decreased of IGBT CAPACITOR(850V/5uF)

* How to check IGBT was broken


1. In naked eye, if there is broken or fired trace in, it is considered broken.
2. If you can check 200kΩ of both side of IGBT GATE, it is normal, after
power OFF. (Make sure to remove 4 cables between IGBT DRV. BOARD and
IGBT, before you are checking.)
3. in the stae of Power on, DC -15V has to checked each part of TEST-
POINT TP13-14, TP15-16, TP17-18 and TP19-20 of IGBT DRIVE BOARD
-If just one part you can not check DC -15V, IGBT is considered defecting.

4. If it is normal, U1(Microprocessor) might be in problem.

1.100~120Hz Pulse wave form on TP2(Z/C) of Power board which sensing

2. If not, PC1(TLP620) of the HT Cont. Board is considered defected.

26 ZERO-CROSS OVER Error
2. When using electric dynamo for input power or when there is too much
noise, it can be occured.

1. Check if using Bucky motion option or not.


27 BUCKY 1 MOTION Error
2. Check Bucky Ok signal on the Interface board(I/F) (No. 15, 16 of TB504)

1. Check if using Bucky motion option or not.


28 BUCKY 2 MOTION Error
2. Check Bucky Ok signal on the Interface board(I/F) (No. 13, 14 of TB504)
1. Because kV, mA value are too low, AEC Chamber don’t give response.
29 AEC A/D Data-In Error
2. Check the cable connection of the AEC Board.

PHOTO TIMER SIGNAL RESET 1. Check RY5(relay) of the AEC board is working just after X-RAY

- Check Code
Check Code is different with Error Code, it is warring massage for mistake of the operators.
Do not exposure when Check Code is appeared.

TUBE TEMPERATURE SENSOR ACTIVATED
Ch_01 - Excessive using of the tube.
- Check the connection of the TUBE ROTOR cable to the GENERATOR
When another switch is pushed during exposure
Ch_02
- Release the check code with back up reset switch.
When PREP. Switch on OP PANEL is detached during exposure
Ch_03
- Release the check code with back up reset switch.
When X-RAY switch on OP PANEL is detached during exposure
Ch_04
- Release the check code with back up reset switch.
When a hand switch (PREP) is detached during exposure
Ch_05
- Release the check code with back up reset switch.
When a hand switch (X-RAY) is detached during exposure
Ch_06
- Release the check code with back up reset switch.
Shortage of power-supply capacity for exposure
Ch_07 - The input power dropes below AC180V and DC 200V.
- power on again, after clear the code.
Simultaneous exposure prohibition
Ch_08 - Other x-ray system is executed simultaneously when the exposure ready switch was pushed.
- Release the check code by off the power of other x-ray system.
Warning for X-rays room door opening
- The door of x-ray room was opened while the exposure ready switch was pushed.
Ch_09
- Stop the exposure of x-ray in this case and the check code will be released when you close the door.
