intervenciones.
Ya he estado investigando
Tengo entendido
....................
Mr. Torres: Good afternoon, Angel; We have to begin to clearly define the tasks that the
company will carry out in the next semester.
Assistant Angel: Good afternoon, Mr. Torres; Of course. I have already been
investigating and clarifying some doubts regarding the issue, with the chief accountant,
Mr. Gutierrez. He will be accompanying us today; It shouldn't take long.
Mr. Gutierrez: Good afternoon, Mr. Manager; Good afternoon, Angel. I understand that
you, Mr. Torres, have asked your assistant to make a budget report for the validity of
this coming semester.
Mr. Torres: That's right, Mr. Gutierrez; a detailed report of the tasks to be carried out,
prices and times in a broken down manner and the limitations and expected goals.
Mr. Gutierrez: Sure, sir; I wonder if they have historical information that is useful to us.
Assistant Angel: of course: I have several financial and technical balances; some detailed
reports and a quantity of material that the different areas of the company have provided
us.
Mr. Gutierrez: Very good, Angel; That will help us a lot. It should be remembered that
the business budget report is aimed at valuing companies in the environment of all
businesses, consolidating their market share, increasing their efficiency, stimulating
productivity and convenient remuneration to The investors.
Mr. Torres: what Mr. Gutierrez affirms is very true, Angel; In addition, it is very important
to keep in mind that, the budget emerges as a modern planning and control tool,
reflecting the behavior of economic indicators and by virtue of its relations with the
different administrative, accounting and financial aspects of the company, since
Organizations are part of an economic environment in which uncertainty predominates,
so they should plan their activities if they intend to remain in the competitive market,
since the greater the uncertainty, the greater the risks to be assumed.
Assistant Angel: I understand Mr. Torres; I understand that the main function of budgets
is related to the financial control of the organization; In addition, budgets can play both
preventive and corrective roles within the organization.
Mr. Torres: that's right, Angel; I see that you are learning very fast.
Mr. Gutiérrez: Now, we have to define what are the budgeting techniques that we will
use for the budget report.
Assistant Angel: I know four techniques. Rigid budget: flexible budget; Program budget
and zero base budget.
Mr. Gutierrez: the flexible budget technique could help us a lot. This is the elaboration
of a set of alternative budgetary plans that correspond to the different levels of planned
activities, these are conceived as a series of alternative ranges of activity, rather than
as certain production volumes.
Assistant Angel: Define what the objectives and purpose of that budget report will be.
Mr. Gutierrez: You are right, Angel. What you just said is very important, because that
report will serve as a route for the company and each of the areas.
Assistant Angel: So, the objectives of this report could be, among others: control and
measure the quantitative, qualitative results and, set responsibilities in the different
dependencies of the company to achieve the fulfillment of the planned goals and
coordinate the different centers of cost to ensure the progress of the company in a
comprehensive manner.
And the purpose can be: control the management of income and expenses of the
company and coordinate and relate the activities of the organization.
Mr. Torres: Excellent, Angel. And now that you have named the objectives and purpose,
that leads us to mention the advantages of making such a report and which are: use of
resources; Balancing the financial structure and measuring the efficiency of operations.
Mr. Gutiuérrez: That is why, articulating with all areas of the company is important,
because this way, we avoid bad organization and wrong coordination.
Mr. Torres: From the management, Mr. Gutierrez, everything necessary will be done to
bring this report to a happy conclusion, and I am also glad that you help Angel.
Assistant Angel: Then, I will immediately prepare the report; Mr. Gutierrez, I am at your
disposal.
