This course is a part of engineering design fundamentals. It is targeted to help student visualize the
basics of engineering design using CAD. It is intended for improving students approach towards

1. Recognize Engineering Drawing tools and extend the drawing principles for adequate
representation of machine parts (Level: C2)
2. Draw 2-D Drawings/Sketches using AutoCAD drawing and editing tools (Level: P3)
3. Produce basic engineering construction drawings ,drawings of mechanical parts and engine
details (Level P3)
