Solid Growth through Continous Transformation

Tangerang, February 1, 2019 – PT Unilever Indonesia, Tbk ("Company") has announced the Company's
Financial Statement (audited) for the fiscal year which ended on 31 December 2018. The Company
successfully managed to record net sales of Rp 41.8 trillion, increased by 1.5% and a net profit of Rp 9.1
trillion, increase by 30.1% compared to the same period last year. In the third quartal of 2018, the
Company took corporate action by selling Spreads category asset. From this corporate action, the
Company recorded a net profit after tax of Rp 2.1 trillion. Without including the sales from Spreads
category, the Company’s sales grow 2.4% in 2018, driven by supported by the Company's improved
performance in the second semester of 2018, where the Company recorded a sales growth rate of 5.1%.

Sancoyo Antarikso, Company’s Director and Corporate Secretary stated, “In 2018, we were able to
maintain positive growth. This was driven by various transformational initiatives which continuously done
by the Company, both through the launch of various innovations, and the digitalisation in some aspects
of business operations that we have.”

In terms of innovations, last year, the Company entered a new business category through the launch of
Jawara chilli sauce. The company also launched a new brand on Skin Cleansing category, Korea Glow body
wash, as well as various products in the new format like Pond’s Facial Masks, Pond’s BB Powder, and
Pond’s Micellar Water.

Regarding business operations, the Company has done digitalisation in the Company’s distribution system
called Digital Logistics. This initiative allows the Company to improve its service level and cost
optimisation. The Company also used big data analysis which enables Company to create effective
communications content and conduct precision marketing.

“Various transformational initiatives which continuously done by the Company allows us to fulfil
consumer needs. Therefore, we were successfully maintaining positive growth last year,” concluded
Sancoyo.
