CONTRACT OF VOLUNTARY SERVICES

Dear Mrs. Castro:

We are pleased to advise you of your continuation of your voluntary services with the
Ananda Marga Special Academic Institution (AMSAI) under the following terms and conditions:

1) Position : Pre-School Teacher – AMSAI Cabantian

2) Immediate Supervisor : Avtk. Ananda Riddhi Ac.
3) Duration of Services : 1 April 2014 – 31 March 2016

As a teacher, you will teach all the subjects assigned to you for level-wise, using the K-12
Curriculum and Neo-Humanist Education System (NHE Way).

Other duties and school policies to be followed:

1. Prepare outline and curriculum plans for whole year during summer;
2. Prepare educational materials and the classroom during summer;
3. Help to maintain the existing educational materials and library books;
4. Assess the pupils and interview parents during enrollment;
5. Teach summer class;
6. Attend Teacher’s Training Program and meetings;
7. Fill up Class Register;
8. Submit monthly and quarterly assessment for grading;
9. Maintain pupils file;
10. Communicate with parents regarding child development;
11. Attendance to any AMSAI activities and facilitate smooth participation of pupils and
parents;
12. Initiate and conduct dialogue/meeting with and between parents;
13. Responsible for safety of children under your care;
14. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the classroom;
15. Monitor the safety of the school building and sufficiency of the school materials and
equipment;
16. Fill up Daily Time Record (DTR) regularly;
17. Arrive at school at least 10 minutes before flag ceremony;
18. In case of absence, you should inform the office one day before, unless the cause is
unforeseen, and write a letter explaining the reason of absence. Only one teacher can
absent at a time. Deduction of allowance will be according to the amount of being
absent/late;
19. Submit test papers at least 3 days before the exam date;
20. No fund raising activities without the written approval from Administrator;
21. Wear the prescribed uniform. No miniskirt, sleeveless blouse, tight pants;
22. Report all accidents or untoward incidents to office immediately;

23. Not to impose physical harm (pinching, slapping etc.) to any child as a form of
punishment. Rather psychological approach and loving gestures shall be applied as a
form of discipline;
24. On circumstances after due consideration, there may be transfer from one AMSAI
BRANCH to another;
25. Not to resign at any time within the school year as specified in the Letter of Intent and
Contract;
26. To finish payment of debt to school if any before the end of contract;
27. Perform other functions and duties as may be designated by your immediate supervisor.
28. Submit monthly lesson logs.
29. Report to school every first Saturday of the month to prepare monthly lesson logs,
prepare materials, and attend faculty meetings.

AMSAI is using the K-12 Curriculum and Neo-Humanist Education System (NHE Way). As an
AMSAI Teacher, you are expected to adhere to the principles of Neo-Humanist Education and
maintain the qualities and duties of a neo-humanist teacher:
1. Facilitate complete Morning Circle;
2. Practice yoga exercise and meditation regularly;
3. Teach moral principles (yama & niyama) through stories and games;
4. Not to take or allow static or junk food (meat, fish, eggs, chicken, garlic, onion, and
mushroom) inside school premises;
5. Attend some social activities of Ananda Marga which administrators deemed necessary
to attend as an AMSAI Teacher.

Due to violations of duties, school policies or undisciplined attitude, accordingly there will
be reminders and time for rectification. However after three notices, the institution has the
right to terminate your voluntary services.

For your voluntary services, you shall receive a monthly allowance of P 6,500.00 to cover
the cost of living. In addition as a sign of good faith for your voluntary services, AMSAI is also
extending to you the following benefits:

a) SSS/Philhealth;
b) 13th month pay to be paid on the month of December;
c) Accident insurance (included in the Accident Insurance for pupils);
d) Maximum PHP 1,000 uniform allowance (P800 for formal, P200 for P.E.) which will be
given upon presenting the Job Order Form;
e) The school shall also accept Tutorial Services for pre-school, graders or high school
students, which shall be done after school hours. You shall receive a 80% share of the
tutorial fee for every student availing of the tutorial services.
f) During services, you can avail free monthly tuition for your own child who studies in
AMSAI. If more than one, the 2nd child will get 10% discount on monthly tuition, the 3rd
child will get 10% discount on monthly tuition and so on. But you are still obliged to pay
for registration, books, ID cards etc. as specified.

It is understood that this contract of voluntary services is for the period of 1 April 2014 – 30
March 2016. Your services shall automatically be considered terminated upon expiration of the
period above specified without need of further notice, unless other issue arises.

For the duration of your voluntary services, you agree to render services or work on
specified holidays and rest days if necessary for the benefit of the children beneficiaries and the
institution. It is further understood that during the entire period of your voluntary services you
shall abide by all the existing school policies and code of ethics as explained during the
orientation, or any of its customary practices, as well as implementing rules and regulations.

If above conditions are acceptable, you are requested to formally commence your voluntary
services on April 1, 2014.

We look forward to working with you in rendering voluntary services to our children
beneficiaries.
