2. Five prayers in Mina on
8th and 9th Dhul Hijja
It is good to perform above
items but there is no
penalty if not performed.
1. The best of the 3 forms of Hajj, encouraged by Prophet (PBUH), is Tamattu.

4. Spending Tashreeq (11th
and 12th) nights in Mina
5. Hadi (Qurbani) (for Hajj

6. Shave or cutting hair
7. Tawaf Al-Wadaa
8. Sayi for Umrah (for
Hajj Qiran & Tamattu)
For each of the above
items that is not performed
or completed, one Dum
(slaughter of a sacrificial
animal) is required.
- Put on Ihram from Meeqat
or before reaching Meeqat,
during the months of Hajj
- Make niyath for Umrah
- Say the Talbeeyah
- Perform Tawaf Umrah
- Pray two rakass behind
Maqam-e-Ibrahim
- Perform Sayi for Umrah
- Shave or Cut hair
- Take off the Ihram
- Put on Ihram on 8th Dhul-
Hijja from your current
residence in Mina,
Makkah, Jeddah, etc.
- Make niyath for Hajj
- Say the Talbeeyah

2. All pilgrims should shorten 4 rakass prayers to 2 rakass (Qasr).

3. Bringing sacrificial animal from outside for Hajj Qiran is Masnoon. Purchasing
Hadi (Qurbani) coupon from your city is same as bringing animal from outside.
4. Tawaf Umrah of a person performing Umrah is also his Tawaf Al-Quddum.

8th Dhul Hijja 9th Dhul Hijja

- Pray 4 prayers (Duhar, - Proceed to - Pray Duhar and Asr - Proceed to
Asr, Maghrib, Isha) on 8th Arafat after prayers combined at Duhar Muzdalifa
sunrise on 9th time (early)
and 1 prayer (Fajar) on 9th Dhul Hijja - Remember Allah and, after sunset
Dhul-Hijja - Should reach while facing Qibla, make - Try to reach
- Say Talbeeyah as often as there before as many supplications as there before
possible Duhar prayer possible until sunset midnight

10th Dhul Hijja

- Pray Maghrib and Isha - Return back to - Stone Jamrah Al-Aqba - Proceed to
prayers combined at Isha Mina just (largest) with seven Makkah
time (late) before sunrise pebbles before Zawal - Perform Tawaf
- Pickup minimum of 49 on 10th D’Hijja - Slaughter the animal (for
pebbles from Muzdalifa - Should reach Hajj Qiran and Tamattu) Al-Ifadha by
