B. Analysis

Based from the result of the item analysis, there are 2 least learned skills identified in Science for the
First Grading Period. These are “Identify the properties of materials and its usefulness” wherein only
72% out of 28 pupils got the correct answer for these items and 69% passed for “Show that materials
may change in size, shape, volume and phase.

C. Hindering factors

The strategies used in teaching may be one of the hindering factor that should be considered why are
there least learned skills identified. Many strategies were used but maybe some were not suited to the
needs of the pupils.

D. Contributory Factors

The use of some educational video clips about the topic is one of the factor should be considered in
order to attain the least learned skills. Must be given more exploratory activities for much better
understanding of the lesson.

E. Recommendation
The learners should be exposed to some educational videos related to topic and more exploratory
activities.
