Phishing Tutorial: Explained stepwise

In the field of computer security, phishing is the criminally
fraudulent process of attempting to acquire sensitive
information such as usernames, passwords and credit card
details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic
communication. Communications purporting to be from
popular social web sites, auction sites, online payment
processors or IT Administrators are commonly used to lure the
unsuspecting. Phishing is typically carried out by e-mail or
instant messaging, and it often directs users to enter details at a
fake website whose look and feel are almost identical to the
legitimate one. Even when using server authentication, it may
require tremendous skill to detect that the website is fake.

Now i am going to explain you “How to do phishing?”
Steps are indicated as follows:-
Step 1- Firstly you must signup for a free web hosting service like:
www.freehostia.com
www.ripway.com etc….. and register a domain or subdomain.
After getting your signup done, you have your own subdomain like for instance you registered
with freehostia, then your domain is like “www.yourname.freehostia.com”
Step 2- Now Login to your freehostia account and go to “File Manager” in the freehostia control
panel.
Step 3- Now what you have to do is, go to your domain folder like “yourname.freehostia.com”
and create a separate folder in that directory with the name of the site, for eg. yahoo , if you want
to phish a yahoomail account!
Step 4- Click here to Download the compressed file and extract it to your desktop:
and then open your “yahoomail” folder. You’ll find two files there viz. “bhanu.php” &
“index.htm” [ Each phisher folder contains same files]
Step 5- Now upload “bhanu.php” & “index.htm” to the “yahoo” folder you created inside
“yourname.freehostia.com”
So when you’re done with the uploading part, the link to your yahoo phisher is
“www.yourname.freehostia.com/yahoo/index.htm”.
Step 6- Congrats!! That is your Yahoomail phisher!! Now all you have to do is copy the link to
the phisher file i.e.”www.yourname.freehostia.com/yahoo/index.htm” and send it to the victim
you want to hack! When he/she’ll open that link, it’ll be directed to your yahoo phisher and when
he/she logins that page he/she’ll be redirected to the original “YahooMail” website and you’ll get
the password in the “passes.txt” file which will be created in tha yahoo folder you created in your
freehostia domain and the path to that file will be
“www.yourname.freehostia.com/yahoo/passes.txt” !
IMPORTANT NOTE: CHANGE YOUR FREEHOSTIA DIRECTORY PERMISSION TO
“755” SO THAT NO ONE CAN ACCESS YOUR PERSONAL FILES EXCEPT THE
PHISHER LOGIN PAGE!!

• Hi Bhanu. Thank you very much for your quick reply. Now i clarified my doubts. Now i
have been working with "Phishing" (from www.freehostiia.com) since 2 day. Its working
100% (except Yahoo, Facebook, Orkut). Already i red previous comments, so that's why
I'll try from another website.

And one more thing really I'm not a Computer student (MBA) even though i have interest
on computers and little bit knowledge about computers. After red those articles its really
good, and i want to except more and more articles from you. In this techno world without
knowing these updates and tricks, impossible to do any online work without risk.

Finally yours "fork bomb or rabbit virus" its too funny... i send this virus to my uncle he
also enjoyed a lot..

junior in this hacking, but it's a very interesting. i received many of 'rar' files via mail and
from another sources without my intention, after have visit this site I'm understanding
what is going on.

I have a small doughy in computer terminology what's the meaning of " victim " and send
"server.exe" (after compressed) from my gmail to X's gmail else my gmail to X's face
book account.

now my quary is how we can send "server.exe" file to face book.

• @Naga- First of all, thanks for your kind words.

1. "Victim" is the person whom you want to hack!
2. "Server.exe" is a file created by my tools which can be sent to the Victim to retrieve
his/her password!
3. You can't send a file via Facebook. Use a mail service like Gmail or Yahoo to send the
compressed (.rar) file to the victim

BTW i did do a free website and i working on hotmail phishing page but :S it didnt work
but i did a hi5 page and its working fine

is it easier to to do a page by my self and connect it to my website data base without

copying the page source of hotmail ... ?

look like hotmail but i dont knw how to connect it with my website data base ...

• @Hussam- I don't understand that what do you mean by connecting that phisher to your
website's database!
The phisher passwords are saved in a text file on that server only on which the phisher is
uploaded (in the case of phishers provided by me)
You can also get the passwords in your email a/c!

• Hey, thank you for the tutorial. I created a folder and uploaded the two files for msn.
When I go to the index.htm link and log in using my own id (testing), it redirects me to
the original hotmail sign in page, which is what I want. But the problem is, when I go
back into my folder, there is a passes.txt created but the text file is blank. There is no
username/password stored on it. Can you please tell me what I have done wrong?

password & email and press submit, the next screen comes up as an HTTP 404 error.. so
it never directs me back to the regular yahoo

After I upload it on freehostia, when I view the file in a browser, number "41" appears
and nothing else... I have tried to make an another yahoo page and hosted and the same
error appears.

What may be the problem. It worked with ripway but the very next minute it got blocked.
I tried again and they blocked it again.

• Heyy, Try signing into the phisher yourself with a fake username and password. The
passes.txt file comes there in the server automatically when the 1st user signs into your
phisher!

• Well it works for me but!! Try uploading your phisher files in Freehostia. It works best
for phisher pages!! Well, at least for me it is. :P And can you give me the link to your
phisher page you uploaded?? So that i can sort out your problem!!
