Assalamu’alaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

Good morning ladies and gentlemen

Let me just start by introducing myself.
My Names fiki andriawan. you can call me fiki, I come from Mechanical engineering 1b
Today I’d like to speak about electrical solder
The objective of this presentation is to present information about electrical solder.
I’ve divided my talk into six main part.
 firstIy I will to talk about definition of electrical solder
 Secondly I will to talk about function of electrical solder
 Thirdly , I will to talk about part of electrical solder
 Fourthly ,I will to talk about Size and shapes of electrical solder
 Fifthly ,I will to talk about How to soldering alumunium
 Finally, I will speak about safety first.

In this presentation I will be using the LCD and the overhead projector. The presentation will
take 10 minutes And 5 minutes for question. I’d be glad to take any questions at the and of my
presentation.I very grateful that you could come today
Ok, let’s start with the first point which is definition.
 Electrical solder is heater tipped soldering the metal to melt lead or other metals melting
after melting is used to connect the two metal surfaces.
Let’s now look at the second point which is function.
 . the function of the solder in mechanical engineering as a means to cover the slit,
leveling , connect the two plates etc
Let’s now look at The third point which is part of electrical soldering
1. soldering iron
The soldering iron is cylindrical in shapes and the tip of pointed in shapes and is the next part of
the electrical solder that serves to drain the heat energy previously generated by the heating well.
and the tip of the solder is made of copper
2. handle soldering
the handle part serves as a heat holder generated by the heating element The material used to
make a solder handle is a plastic that is mixed with certain materials so that it remains safe and
does not melt when the solder is heated
3.cable Power
power cable serves to drain the power from the central power to the solder, the inside of the
power cable is made of copper and aluminium while the outer part made of Rubber
Let’s now look at The Fourth point which is Size and shape
Size of electrical solder
solder has a size of two hundred twenty and the soldering iron has a size of one hundred ten and
part of the handle has a size of one hundred and twenty and the power cable has a size of one
hundred eighty-eight.
Shapes of electrical solder
the shape of the tip of the soldering there is some sort of them is the shape of the horseshoe head,
screwdriver, and heand and pointed
Let’s now look at The fifth point which is How soldering alumunium
1..Do the initial soldering on every hard part was merged (optional).
2.clean aluminum with stainless brushes

3.Basic metal clasp together.

4.use flux

5. heat The matal

6.use solder (tinol)

7.Get rid of excess flux and oxidize

Let’s now look at final point which is safety first
 Wear safety glasses when soldering.
 Place soldering iron in an approved holder when not in use. The iron is hot and can cause
burns..
 Ensure access to proper ventilation.
 Don’t touch molten solder - it is hot!

Summary and conclusion of My presentation

to sum up then, Electrical solder is a tool used for brazing or soldering wire or component
connection by using lead and consists of several parts firstly soldering iron secondly handle ,
thridly cable power, and has a size of 220
To conclude,I`d like to say that electrical Soldering is a tool that is not only used for
electronics, but its use in mechanical engineering is also very in need as a tool for soldering thin
objects (Plate), connect, cover the cracks on the workpiece, and the work is not be in command
by the welding machine as it will damage the workpiece or workpiece can be translucent. While
the process of soldering should be done carefully and pay attention to the safety
Are there any questions or comments on that?
That’s all I wanted to say about my presentation.
