Project Status

 Indocement Tarjun Plant operating a cement plant in South Kalimantan, and

KORINA Group intends to build BMPP(Barge Mounted Power Plant) to supply
stable and economical power supply & Fresh Water to Indocement Tarjun Plant.

 BMPP is designed to use Duel Fuel Engine and it will takes 15month of
construction time to produce electricity to customer.

 LNG is planned to be supply from Bontang Terminal, and Mini LNGC will be used
to transport LNG from Bontang to BMPP.

10 Proposal for Electric Power & Water of Islands of Indonesia

Fresh Water Generator

10 Proposal for Electric Power & Water of Islands of Indonesia

Electric Power and Water Shortage of Islands

1) Most of the islands of Indonesia have been suffered from shortage of the electric power and fresh
water in the present as well as in the near future.
2) The population of the islands will be continuously increased. So, the electric power and fresh water will
be valuable more and more.

- Ours Proposal can sufficiently supply the electric power and the fresh water
for more than five thousand families and any facilities in the island.
- Fresh water generator would be highly helpful to economically produce
the fresh water without any additional heat source from sea water.
10 Proposal for Electric Power & Water of Islands of Indonesia

Low salinity guaranteed

• Constant supply of fresh water with

salinity below 2 ppm. (1.5 ppm for V
SP unit)

• You can bunker less water.

• High quality technical water prolong

s the lifetime of equipment onboard.

• No corrosion problems, also reduces

maintenance requirements.
10 Proposal for Electric Power & Water of Islands of Indonesia

Fresh Water Generator

• More than 18.000 Freshwater generators in service

• 200 MT /day based on 50MW operation

Based on ships over 2000dwt

Alfa Laval: Nirex, Atlas
Other solutions: Bunker Water, Competing Products
