NSTP (CWTS)

Narrative Report

Being able to help is a privilege for us students for it teaches us how to become responsible and
concerned citizen to those who are in need. It helps us to understand the spirit of compassion and to
share what we have to and abolish the selfishness hidden deep within us. With the help of NSTP (CWTS)
program which is to help every students to become more responsible, educate and to practice
Volunteerism. After the proposal accepted entitled“” .The NSTP – CWTS class ELET 1201 would like to
pursue the project for the reason that follows; to practice volunteerism, to maintain cleanliness at the
BSU Lipa Campus and to practice responsibility among the students. Also in addition, the project was
initiated on behalf of the requirements for the academic course CWTS (Civic Welfare Training Service).
An assessment has been conducted and the NSTP – CWTS class ELET1201 found that there was a needed
attention for maintaining cleanliness inside the school campus and to help students practice discipline.
In the first task of our proposal”” after buying materials for our project, we started to do the first task
which is cleaning the outside part of the school. To finish it quickly we become one and also we do
teamwork. Cleaning is a common doing for every student. But this time for us cleaning is a must because
without cleaning the campus it causes issue. That every student in the campus will feel uncomfortable.
In the second task of our proposal””, we do painting the court or gym that take place inside the campus,
we paint the basketball court. We do this to help the Varsity team or students who use the court or gym.
We paint it to become new or become catchy. Because we know that in every place color is one of the
main reasons why many students attract to it. We know that colorful place means presentable. We
decided to paint the court or gym to fix the faded color of the floor. In the third task of our proposal””,
we continue painting the court or gym, because it is too wide that even our class time is not enough to
finish it. So, in the next day we do follow up operation, this time we finish it and proceed to the last task
of our proposal which is also cleaning. In the fourth task of our proposal””, like in first task our fourth
task is also cleaning but this time we clean the front of our ground floor. We clean and throw in the
garbage the fallen leaves of the tree of our ground floor. We do this cleaning for us to maintain the
cleanliness in our ground floor area. Finally, the project is done for us. We finally practice our
volunteerism and being responsible students. Also in addition, we finish it as requirements for our
academic course NSTP – CWTS Program.

We didn’t make this proposal not only for our requirements in NSTP – CWTS but also to help us
To develop the unity of a group, To enhance the skills of the students, To improve the camaraderie of
one another. We also have some Objectives for this Project; To practice segregation of garbage among
the students, To maintain cleanliness at the BSU Lipa Campus, and To develop the responsibility of the
students in the campus. We can’t end it without understanding it and learn from it. For me, I learned a
lot on how to participate and cooperate in this kind of project. I learned how work properly. With the
help of this project I will now say that being volunteer person is so good. Through Volunteer we can help
other to their problem and also to their responsibility. I learned how to control my temper, how to smile
even if I’m already tired. I notice that NSTP – CWTS is not just a requirements it is our desire. And the
important thing I learned from this project is “love our nature”. Because nature is not a place to visit. It
is Home.
