STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

My name is Narra Bhanu Prasad. I desire to pursue Masters program from National
University in Computer Science. I am working as Software Engineer with Auto ADT Technical
Solution Private Limited from past 3.4 years. Coming from an Electronics background I had
worked on micro controller programming. OOPS elective in Bachelors developed an interest
in me about computer science. I started learning C and Java programming on my own from
various online resources. The passion in me had helped to gain good command over the
language with in a minimum amount of time. I have work experience in JAVA/J2EE
technologies like servlet, JSP and JDBC. I also worked on various framework softwares like
Spring (IOC, Web MVC, AOP) and Hibernate.

I completed 10th class from Vidya Vani High School in Hyderabad. Due to the strong
foundation skills I developed in Mathematics and Science in school helped me to secure a
place in top 2% of nearly 0.1 million aspirants who took the entrance exam for diploma. I
completed my diploma from Government Polytechnic College, Masab Tank, Hyderabad. The
3-year diploma program was academically very rigorous. Later I pursued my Bachelor of
technology in Electronics and Communication from Vignan institute of Technology and
Science affiliated to J.N.T.U Hyderabad. This was the time when my interest in Computer
Science had started and learned programming skills on my own. Participated in various
college events and successfully leaded my final year project team.

I started working with Auto ADT Technical Solution Private Limited from January 2015. The
work experience of 3.4 years helped me to develop various skills both professionally and
personally. The thirst for knowledge in computers continued and learned many concepts
though they are not related to my work. After proper self evaluation I decided to pursue
masters. My interest to do specialization and obtain in depth knowledge in this field made
me apply for Masters program. The work experience I gained will definitely help me to
excel in the rigorous academics.

National university is known for its Computer Science department. Highly qualified
professors, courses offered and research facilities available will help me to develop my
knowledge and enables me to add great value to university. It is also a place of diverse
religions, nationalities and ideologies. It will help to develop my personality and also offers
for a great cultural exchange. I am a friendly person and get along with new people very
quickly. I want to enhance my thinking skills and do research about latest technologies such
as Machine learning and Data Base Management Systems.

My consistent performance through out, from school till my work, is a testimony of my

abilities and will continue to better my self with each passing year. I strongly believe that
National university is a great place to pursue Masters and given an opportunity I will
definitely add value to the university and its student community.
