and remained strong amid the storm. Now, they have chosen to seal their love

couple, it is just and right to give them their grand entrance and our warmest
welcome.

Anrene: So without further ado, we are requesting everyone to stand a point as we

introduce to you our newlyweds. Ladies and gentlemen, family and friends, may
we now present Mr. and Mrs. Fermin Enaje.

Ronald: Wow, they are the proof that love stands still even with the test of time. Love
really makes us blush, look at them they are just absolutely stunning!

Anrene: Once again, let us give our loudest applause to the sponsors, the wedding
entourage, and of course, the couple, Mr. and Mrs. Fermin Enaje!
Ronald: Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Fermin Enaje and best wishes to both of you. We
wish you to be blessed with a long and happy life together with your dozens of
children.

Anrene: A wedding is not complete without traditions practiced almost entirely of a

Filipino Wedding. To start off, the holy family offerings. The couple will light the
candle to the Holy Family. This is to bless Mr. and Mrs. Fermin Enaje children of
their own. (dozens of children)

Ronald: Next up, we have the cutting of the wedding cake which is of course always part
of every wedding reception. May we request the Groom and Bride to prepare for
the cake cutting ceremony. The cake, which has been a part of wedding
celebrations since the Roman times, is a symbol of good luck and fertility. The
sharing of this food symbolizes the couple's willingness to fulfill each other's
needs, creating a bond so simple and yet so strong. (There you have it, were
done with the cake cutting. What’s next?

Anrene: Our next tradition is the champagne toasting. Raising a glass together is a way
for everyone to share in wishing good health and happiness to the newlyweds.
As the champagne is poured, our newlyweds now make wishes for their good
fortune, a better future and the best of life possible for them. We would like to
invite everyone to raise their glasses to our Groom and Bride and join them in
their wishes through good fellowship and camaraderie, love and happiness.

Ronald: May we now call on the Best man, Mr. Andrian Enaje to lead the champagne
toasting.

Anrene: We now come to the releasing of the doves. White doves are the symbol of love,
peace and hope. They pair for life, and at the end of each day, they return to the
same home for the night.

Ronald: As Mr. and Mrs. Enaje release these doves, we ask you, their family and friends
to witness this very symbolic gesture which heralds the beginning of their new
life together. To Mr. and Mrs. Enaje we wish you love.

Ronald: And now we would like to clear the dance floor for everyone except for our
Groom. Let’s give a special time for the groom and his eldest sister. May we
request Ms. Josefina Dineros the eldest sister of the groom for a special dance.
Let’s give them a round of applause.

Anrene: This time let’s have the bride to also have some special time together with the
first man in her life. May we request for Mr. Rodolfo Equiza the father of the
bride, to approach his daughter for the father and daughter dance.
Ronald: Ladies and gentlemen, a round of applause for the father and daughter dance.
and now the father gives his daughter to groom. The groom will now approach
the father of the bride, and dance together as one.
Anrene: As a wedding tradition, let us welcome the couple on the dance floor for their
first dance and as they dance their hearts away, this will be followed by the
Dance of Bounty or the Money Dance.
Ronald: For the Guests you can send your wishes by pinning bills on the couples' dresses.
Anrene: Life may get a little offbeat for the couple, they may miss a step or two but their
hearts will always beat harmoniously for each other. Let's give another round of
applause for the couple!
Ronald: I know you have written your messages for the couple but let us hear some of
the most important people in the couple's life. So at this point, let’s hear a
message from the couple’s Ninong and Ninang, at least one representative.
Anrene: Ok, Let’s have first have first a representative the couples Ninong.
Ronald: Thank very much for the message. _________. This time let’s have the message
of the representative from the couple’s Ninang.
Anrene: A round of applause. Thank you very much. This time di pueding walang message
ang friends ng ating couple. So let’s hear a message, just one representative from
our Grooms friends.
Ronald: Thank you sir. This time, di pueding walang representative and friends ng ating
bride. So Let’s a message coming from our bride’s friend.
Anrene: There you go. Thank you all so much. It is said that our parents are our first
teachers having raised us patiently from childhood to adulthood. They have been
our source of comfort, support and inspiration.
Ronald: Yes that's right. Mr. and Mrs. Enaje, you are truly blessed with such wonderful
parents and family and I’m quite sure when it comes to knowing what marriage
is all about, they always have a words to share for both of you.
Anrene: We would like to call in any representative from the groom’s family. To give a
message for the couple.
Ronald: Thank you so much. And now we would like to call in the Mother of the Bride,
Mrs. Delia Equiza to give her message to the newlyweds.
Ronald : Thank you mother. And of course di natin puede kalimutan ang tatay ng ating
beautiful bride. Let’s call in Mr. Rodolfo Equiza.
Ronald: Wonderful! Once again let us give them a big hand for such wonderful and
meaningful speeches.
Anrene: OK, this next is surely a real excitement and fun part, the lovely and single,
feeling single, almost single, it's-complicated single, and all the kinds of single
maidens get hyped up now as we are going to proceed to the traditional
throwing of the bouquet.
Ronald: Yes, get your pump heels ready for jumping and do some stretching. Anyone who
gets the bouquet will be the next bride. Let's count altogether.
Anrene: Congratulations ______________ you are definitely the next bride Get ready to
wrestle as the good-looking groom is going to retrieve the garter.
So we have to find the perfect groom-to-be! It's the gentlemen's turn now for
the garter toss. So we are calling all the singles, feeling single, almost single, and
all the kinds of single grooms.
Ronald: This time around we have to ask the groom-to-be to put that garter on the next
bride's leg.
(Fun Tip: Groom-to-be should raise the garter as high as possible, using his
mouth, LOL)
Anrene: Today's affair is just getting more exciting with future groom and bride and since
we are hoping for a romantic love to bloom between these two, this wedding
reception will not end without us hearing messages from each other and of
course to all of you who are here today, celebrating love with the couple.
Ronald: First off, let’s have the message of Mr. Fermin Enaje to her wife.
Anrene: Wow so sweet, now let’s have the message of Mrs. Shiela Enaje to his husband.
Ronald: Congratulations once again to the newlyweds.
Opening of Gifts
The couple truly appreciates your presence here with or without your gifts but
really the gifts also matter, kidding! (ad lib) The couple may not be able to open
all these gifts tonight but let us check on the biggest and the smallest gifts (or
the couple's choice).
Anrene: The celebration is about to end but the couple’s joyous moment will surely last a
lifetime. And even as we go home today, may we still keep the memories we
made today with our lovely couple.
Ronald: To personally express their gratitude for the entire wedding celebration and the
people who made it possible, let us give the floor to our newlyweds for their
message.
Anrene: Well I guess that’s about everything ladies and gentlemen we have finally come
to the end of our program. It has been a great and a wonderful day with you all.
Ronald: Thank you everyone for taking part in the celebration of love and life with our
newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Fermin Enaje We might have come to the end of the
program but remember, a true love story never ends. God bless and good day!
