Executive Summary:
Basically, our business idea is the use of bio floc technology for fish feeding
which is very low in cost and environmentally friendly. In fish feeding of our industry we
provide a controlled environment to fish for their maximize increase of their biomass in small
days. Basic strategy that we used in our industry is the use of drained water in many of the
large tanks in which our fish are growth and that is the high source of carbon and nitrogen and
other organic compounds that are the naturally protein source for fish and this water also
contain microorganisms that lowers the feed conversion rate for the fish because these
microorganisms have natural ability to degrade organic compounds in to useful protein
products for the fish and this lowers the feed conversion rate of the fish and highly growth of
the fish. So naturally by providing a controlled environment to the fish we maximize the growth
the fish in our industry of Fish Feeders. And 50% our feed cost is minimized by this technology
because of the conventional feeding of fish which is now a days used. So, there is maximum
production of fish in low time by bio floc technology that can minimize the seeds cost that are
conventionally used in Pakistan now a days.
This is the new business idea in Pakistan that can reduce cost of production of not using seeds
for fish feeding rather than natural source of drained water in controlled environment. And,
this business plan is innovative in Pakistan because every industry of fish feeding use seeds
which are very high in cast that cannot give them maximum profit. So, seeds cast is the problem
in fish feeding industries in Pakistan because this conventional process is time consuming and
these seeds show their growth after a long time. But the bio floc technology of our Fish Feeder
industry reduced all these problems by zero percent seeds cost and by giving maximum growth
to fish in low time can give maximum profit of our industry and we export these fish to the
foreign countries that can give maximum profit in low cost. This Bio floc technology is
environmental friendly as we used drained water which is contaminated by human, animal,
plant and industrial wastes that have high source of carbon and nitrogen that cannot utilized by
humans for drinking because of its toxicity but by this this technology we minimize all these
problems because these are the natural source of biomass for microorganisms that are
metabolized by these microorganisms that are naturally present in the drained water.
So, they convert these organic compounds into useful protein products that are need for fish
growth rather than conventionally that seeds provide them having low feed conversion rate for
fish but bio floc enhance the feed conversion rate for fish by the growth of these microorganism
in a controlled environment. Our industry Fish Feeder competitors are those are other industry
that used seeds for the growth of fish and polluted the water. But in Fish Feeder industry water
pollution is minimized by recycling and minimizing the waste water that are naturally occurring
microorganism are utilized for giving protein products to fish in low time and in high feed
conversion rate for our fish and there is no side effects for the fish of our industry. Because it
is the natural process for fish feeding.

And for Fish Feeder industry we required drained water which is present everywhere in
Pakistan mostly in rural areas and also from industrial waste water and water of streams and
lakes that contain naturally microorganisms for degradation of these waste compounds that are
present in this water so we collected this water in tanks from these areas by paid workers and
we make different plastic tanks of same size almost having capacity of taking water 10,000
liters in our industry and after that we required control system that is provided to these tanks
for our fish growth and we sell fish all the cities of Pakistan by making deal with other fish
seller that are previously buy fish from other person of using conventionally fish feeding
process that have high cost. First, we target local market of selling our fish in the price of
market rate and we also minimize the rate of our fish for maximum sale of our fish and we give
maximum profit as our cost of growing fish is 50% less than other industries in Pakistan.
So, we can maximum sale our fish due to low in cost and we also provide online service
delivery of our fish of different target cities of Pakistan. We also sell our fish in different fish
stocking areas. So we gain maximum profit after that we authorized our working industry to
the Fishers Development Commissioner under the ministry food and also provide them all legal
information of our industry that will give maximum profit to the Pakistan by enhancing our
business internationally exporting our fish of Fish Feeder Industry. This is economically a great
benefit for the Pakistan in future that can reduce the expense of seeds that are conventionally
used in other fishing industries.
So, Fish feeder industry needs total capital amount 5500000 of anybody investing it for the 1st
year and by investing that capital will generate revenue get the estimated revenue of 9600000/-
Rs nationally and in future internationally. Thus, in the 1st year estimated profit is 4100000-/
by deducting all the expenses and covering all the assets value.

Introduction:
Our Fish Feeder industry provides a new feeding technology for fish in Pakistan to minimize
the cost of seeds that are conventionally used for fish feeding. The basic goal of our industry
to minimize the fish feeding cost in Pakistan by introducing the innovative technology which
is “Bio floc Technology”. This technology grow fish in controlled environment by utilizing
stream water or wastewater that is the natural source of organic for bacteria which are naturally
present in the stream and wastewater. This technology provides the high feed conversion rate
naturally present carbon and nitrogen source in the stream water that is necessary for low time
high growth of fish which is low cost than conventionally. And this technology is first time
used in Pakistan which is also environmentally friendly also treating the wastewater and
recycling it that reduce the water pollution. As conventionally fish feeding process have high
cost and due to this, there is no enough profit gaining of these industries. So, this is the problem
for these industries utilizing seeds for fish and this is the opportunity for us to reduce this
problem for economically strong fish industry. So, our Fish Feeder industry have zero seed
cost because we do not use seeds for the fish growing which is time consuming. So, we use
Bio floc technology that is that provide maximum profit for attaining high growth of fish in
minimum time and enhance the feed conversion rate of proteins that are naturally provide the
bacteria in the stream water, lakes and wastewater.
So, our Fish Feeder industry provides a controlled environment for fish growth and can strong
economically to Pakistan by minimizing the expenses on fish and giving high profit because
of less time consuming and low production cost. This can be reduced the economically
beneficial for the Pakistan as now the seeds for fish feeding are purchased from the China and

profitable. And our fish are the products of natural feeding so this will be attractive to
customers. And price of our fish will be depending on the price in the market. Our focus will
be possibly reducing the cost of the fish for the customers and this will be attractive to the
customers. And production process will be also natural, and we will try to reduce further
production cost of fish as we will not use seeds that were conventionally used for fish feeding.
We also provide service to convince the customer to buy the fish of Fish Feeder Industry. We
also provide service to the large restaurants, hotels and marriage halls where we meet the
managers and convince them about the natural producing fish which is also cost effective. The
cost-effective fish is the main strategy that we used to attract customers. And we also convince
the managers of different hotels of different cities in Pakistan about how we produce these fish
in natural way and offer to visit our setup where fish are to be feeding in natural way and thus
they can be long term customers of Fish Feeder Industry. This can built up a trust to the
managers of our industry and then our maximum sell of fish with high benefit occurred due to
less production cost.
We also authorized our Fish Feeding Industry nationally to the Fisheries Development
Commissioner (FDC) under the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock.
We also making banners and adds in social media of our industry and how we produce the fish
through Bio floc technology. The TV ads will also be used for the promotion of our product as
well as the concept of our new fish feeding strategies in the market. Ads in the local newspapers
of Punjab will also be published for general awareness of the use of high cost seeds. We also
nationally hit the market by low production cost of the fish and all the fish consumers are
attracted towards us due to low cost and totally natural way production. Rather than other fish
feeding process are used seeds that are not sometime naturally produced which is artificially
produced and that have not good for fish and fish consumers health. So, our setup naturally
feed the fish in natural controlled environment. This will be the positively acceptance of fish
of our industry. For this, we will make banners and TV ads of our industry and its production
way of fish that will be more attracted to fish consumer because everybody wants good health
as if fish are healthy than will also be healthy. We will also make page of our setup on the
Facebook in which we elaborate the production process of fish of Fish Feeder Industry in the
form of videos. So, our Fish Feeder Industry will be socially introducing to everywhere and we
will also provide online delivery package to the customers. It depends on the type of the fish
that they want and amount of the fish.
We will also compete the other fish feeding setups by making cost effective production of fish
and also in a small time we got maximum production by Bio floc technology and time is very
important factor for customer demand we will give high production rather than other fish

Job Description:

Monitor the fish feeding tank conditions that were applied to enhance the maximum production
of fish. workers that will have the duty to collect the drained water in different areas of cities
in Pakistan and collect all the constructional material for the industry if in future the Fish Feeder
Industry will be needed.

Supervisor in the first line of management must be qualified in BS-biotechnology and have
skills how to maintain a culture medium in large tanks of water.

Must be experienced in the lab working of fermentation process and must have skills how to
stabilize and maintain the culture.

Production employees must also have some technical skills of fish farming and must be skilled
in the fish farming industry.

Marketing manager have skills about how to sell our products and what are the strategies we
used to enhance the product demand in the market.

Product portfolio:

Aquaculture began in Pakistan as a small-scale sideline of crop farmers, however, with the
emergence of fish hatcheries operated by the public sector, there is a movement towards larger
fish farms particularly with the entry of businessmen into this sector. This effect, however, is
area specific and confined to areas close to big cities such as Lahore and Multan as well as in
Sindh where people have large land holdings, the management of large water bodies and the
construction of large farms are now common here. Aquaculture in Pakistan is basically a
provincial responsibility, at the central level fisheries is the responsibility of the office of the
Fisheries Development Commissioner (FDC) working under the Ministry of Food, Agriculture
and Livestock (MINFAL). The office of the FDC is responsible for policy, planning and
coordination with provincial fisheries departments and other national and international
agencies. The Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) is the country's largest research
organization and is responsible to MINFAL. About 13 000 fish farms have so far been
established across Pakistan, the size of these farms varies considerably, however, the average
farm size ranges form 5-10 ha. No direct data on the number of fish farmers employed in this
sector is available as fish farming in most parts of the country is carried out as an integral part
of crop farming the rate varies as per the region practices. The packing of the fish is
conventionally done in the polypropylene bags but now the progressive farmers and traders are
packing it in the polystyrene boxes for the improved quality during the transportation and
handling. The product can be sold throughout the country, especially within the areas having
taste for freshwater fish. These include the Noncoastal areas of Baluchistan, interior Sind,
Punjab, and KP. it also used for different purpose in human health

large stores of major cities like, Hyper Star, Makro, and Metro etc. can be the big customers
provided their quantity and quality requirements are satisfied.

is similar to those of other agricultural commodities. Products are sold into the market to
wholesalers and then onto retailers and end consumers through agents working on commission
basis. Fish markets are very common in Sindh, at selected locations in Punjab; all markets are
under the control of the local administrations
Most fish markets have inadequate facilities, usually they lack cold storage facilities, have poor
hygienic conditions and inadequate communication links, etc. Most aquaculture product is
consumed locally with only a small portion being exported. The biodiversity of natural water
bodies and coastal areas has been seriously affected as a result of overfishing, pollution and
environmental degradation. There is a need therefore to develop the aquaculture sector in a
sustainable and responsible manner. The internal factor (strength and weakness) and external
