THE OBJECTIVE OF THE CULMINATING ACTIVITY IS TO GIVE CHANCE TO THE TRAINEES TO
CONDUCT AND PERFORM AN ACTUAL SET UP / OPERATION OF A COFFEE SHOP. THIS IS TO SHOWCASE THEIR ABILITIES AND FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE REQUIRED ATTITUDE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS IN A CAFE THAT THEY HAVE GAINED DURING THEIR TRAINING SESSIONS.
GUIDELINES FOR CULMINATING ACTIVITY
1. THE GROUP MUST BE COMPOSED OF AT LEASE 4-5 MEMBERS.
MANAGER BAR SUPERVISOR BARISTA CASHIER FOOD SERVER/S 2. THE GROUP MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS 5 DAYS PRIOR TO THE ASSIGNED DATE FOR THE CULMINATING ACTIVITY. BUSINESS PLAN (COMPILED) NAME OF COFFEE SHOP LOGO OF THE COFFEE SHOP FLOOR PLAN / SHOP LAYOUT TARGET MARKET ORGANIZATIONAL CHART DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR EVERY DESIGNATION FINANCIAL STATEMENT (ASSETS/ INITIAL INVESTMENT) MENU ORDER SLIP SAMPLE OFFICIAL RECEIPT BILL FOLDER / JACKET NOTE: 20% FROM THE OVERALL RATING ON THE CULMINATING ACTIVITY WILL BE FROM THE PORTFOLIO. 3. THE GROUP WILL BE GIVEN 3-4 HOURS OPERATION TIME. EXCLUDING THE 1 HOUR PREPERATION / SET UP. 4. ALL COLLECTIBLES MONETARY OR IN KIND DONATION SHOULD BE RECORDED & ACKNOWLEDE BY THE MANAGER. 5. FORCE AND EXECESSIVE CONTRIBUTION FOR EACH GROUP IS NOT ALLOWED. 6. THE GROUP CAN INVITE ATLEAST 10 minimum - 30 maximum. INVITED GUESTS WILL ALSO BE PART OF THE PANELS. NOTE: STRICTLY NO KIDS ALLOWED AND TRY NOT HAVING A LONG CONVERSATION (NOT RELEVANT TO THE SAID EVENT) WITH THE GUESTS THAT YOU PERSONALLY KNOWN. 7. ALL TOOLS AND QUIPMENT NEEDED DURING THE PRESENTATION MUST BE LISTED IN STANDARD REQUEST FORM PROVIDED BY GALLEY ACADEMY ADMIN. REQUESTED TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT SHOUL ALSO BE SURRENDERED WITH THE PERSON INCHARGE (GALLEY ADMIN). NOTE: YOUR GROUP IS LIABLE IF THE REQUESTED TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT GOT DAMAGED DURING YOUR PRESENTATION. 8. MILK, WHIPPED CREAM AND OTHER CONSUMABLES MUST BE PPROVIDED BY THE GROUP. 9. CONSERVATION OF UTILITIES LIKE; WATER, LIGHTS, AND OTHER UTILITIES SHPULD BE OBSERVED PRIOR TO THE EVENT. 10. FOOD AND BEVERAGE TASTING, PRODUCT COSTING, DESIGNATIONS, THEME, SET UP, DECORATION, FOOD TO OFFER, UNIFORM, NUMBER OF EXPECTED GUESTS, FLOW OF SERVICE AND OTHER PLANS / CONCERNS WILL BE DISCUSSED 3 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. 11. THE GROUP WILL PRESENT AND PROVIDE A TICKET THAT THEY WILL SERVE AS A STUB FOR THEIR GUEST IN CLAIMING THIER ORDERS. NOTE: TICKET PRICE WILL BE DEPENDING ON THE GROUP DECISION. 12. ON THE EVENT, YOUR GROUP WILL BE GIVEN 1 HOUR TO SET UP THE CAFE AREA. NOTE: YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PASTE ANYTHING ON THE WALL, UNLESS YOU HAVE THE APPROVAL OF THE SCHOOL PRESIDENT. 13. MAKE SURE THAT AFTER THE EVENT, ALL TRASH SHOULD BE PROPERLY DISPOSED, THE TABLES, CHAIRS, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND OTHER SCHOOL FACILITIES, SHOULD BE CLEAN AND PROPERLY PLACED BACK ONTHEIR RESPECTIVE AREAS. 14. ODERED COFFEE BEVERAGES MUST BE PREPARED ACCORDING ON THE STANDARD PROCEDURE GIVEN TO YOU DURING THE TRAINING 15. AFTER THE CULMINATING EVENT THE GROUP SHOULD REPORT INITIAL RESULT OF THE EXPENDITURES/EXPENSES. 16. AFTER THE EVENT, THERE WILL BE A FEEDBACKING WITH REGARDS TO THE INDIVIDUAL AND AS A GROUP PERFORMANCE. 17. THE GROUP SHOULD PREPARE AN AGREEMENT IN DISTRIBUTION OF THE TOTAL INCOME OF THE CULMINATING ACTIVITY. 18. EXCESS INGREDIENTS/RAW MATERIALS IS CONSIDER AS WASTAGE AND LOSS FROM THE PROFIT. 19. IN TERMS OD ANY EXCESS INGREDIENTS/RAW MATERIALS, THE PRODUCT/S SHOULD BE DIVIDED EQUALLY TO THE GROUP MEMBERS. 20. THE GROUP SHOULD SUBMIT A DOCUMENTATION (PHOTOS / VIDEOS) TAKEN BEFORE (PLANNING) AND DURING THE EVENT. SOFT COPY WILL BE SENT THROUGH MESSENGER AT THE OFFICIAL GROUP CHAT OF YOUR BATCH.
