Description of a StopVac ( Steam Mop Vacuum )

Introduction

The Steam Mop Vacuum is a two in one cleaning machine that uses steam to disinfect the floor
and uses air pump to suck up dust and dirt from floors and other surfaces. The steam mop uses
water and heat to produce steam that will clean and disinfect the floor. A microfiber pad is often
placed right underneath the steam jet to trap dirt.

The Steam Mop Vacuum looks like a typical vacuum cleaner that has a triangular
shape mop and a portable vacuum cleaner attached in the body of the mop. The triangular shape
mop’s surface is composed of smooth, blue plastic glossy finish, microfiber cloth and stainless
steel. The vacuum’s body is composed of smooth, grey plastic glossy finish, a color black button
for its power and stainless steel.

The Steam Mop Vacuum consists of the following parts: vacuum, steam mop,
microfiber cloth, steam blower, steam pipe, water tank, filter, dust bag, charger ( See Figure 1 ).

Steam Mop
The steam mop is a cleaning tool that uses steam to clean and disinfect the floors and carpets.
The steam mop uses an electricity from the rechargeable battery. It is the main source to operate
the machine. The steam mop works from the water being heated and turn into steam, the steam
travels through the steam pipe and pumps into the steam blower.

The steam mop is triangular in shape and is 650 millimeters long with a diameter of 140
millimeters. It is composed of smooth, blue plastic glossy finish, microfiber cloth and stainless
steel.

Vacuum

The vacuum is a cleaning machine that uses steam and it is portable. The vacuum collects the dirt
by either a dust bag or a cyclone for later disposal. The vacuum's suction is caused by a
difference in air pressure. A fan driven by an electric motor (often a universal motor) reduces the
pressure inside the machine. Atmospheric pressure then pushes the air through the carpet and
into the nozzle, and so the dust is literally pushed into the bag. The vacuum that is smooth, grey
plastic glossy finish, a color black button for its power and stainless steel. The vacuum is attach
in the body of steam mop.

Microfiber Cloth

The microfiber cloth is a synthetic fiber finer than the original thread, having a diameter of less
than ten micrometers. The microfiber cloth have exceptional ability to absorb oils, removing wax
from paintwork, quick detailing, cleaning interior, cleaning glass, and drying. The microfiber is
white fine cloth that is triangular in shape.
Steam Blower

The steam blower is a blower that producing steam. The steam blower pumps out the steam from
the steam pipe. It is composed of stainless steel. The steam blower is attach at the bottom of the
mop and in the front part the vacuum.

Steam Pipe

The steam pipe is a pipe conducting steam that is designed to carry pressurized steam. The steam
pipe carries the steam from the water tank that is being processed and pass through the steam
blower. The steam pipe is composed of stainless steel pipe.

Water Tank

Water Tank is a water storing container that is oval in shape. The water tank is composed of
polyethylene plastic and stainless steel. The water tank is attached at top of the vacuum and the
other water tank is attached with the steam pipe.

Filter

The filter is a porous device for removing impurities or solid particles from a gas or liquid that
passed through it. The filter purifies the solid particles or liquid from the areas that you clean and
may remove odors and gaseous pollutants. The filter is composed of stainless steel mesh which
allows more air to pass through. Stainless steel mesh comes with different mesh counts and sizes,
offering different filtration standards.

Dust Bag

Dust bag is a dust storing container that is part of a vacuum in which dust and other sweepings
are collected. The dust bag is made of synthetic fibers and sewn into a cylinder or flat shaped
bag.
Charger

The charger is a charging device for battery-powered equipment. The charger is a fast charger
type which makes use of control circuitry to rapidly charge the batteries without damaging any
of the cells in the battery. The charger is a black color plastic glossy finish and a metal plug.
