CHP561 – AFSView Network Management

System

Course goal
This course provides a thorough and practical introduction to the AFSView Network Management
System. After the successful completion of the course the participants will be familiar with the architec-
ture, the options and the different functions of the AFSView. They will be able to configure the AFSView
and to manage ABB supplied Network Elements.

Main learning objectives Course type

The participants will be able to:
— Summarize the AFSView features and archi-
tecture
— Explain how to setup and administer the
system
— Configure the main functions such as the
topological map and the user interface
— Explain how to manage faults and maintain
the system
This is a face to face class room training with
maximum 12 participants.
Learning methods and tools
Lectures, demo and practical exercises with real
devices.
Laptop or tablet is required to have access to
the e-documentation. Please bring your own de-
vice
