For the most of human history, we work hunter. Gatherers and then about 10,000 years ago, we began
to domesticate plants and animals as a way to make our food supply more accessible and predictable.
Many ways, the birth of agriculture can be defined as the moment we stopped casting our food and
started raising it.

CLAVERIA MISAMIS ORIENTAL- the municipality of Claveria is one of the vegetable baskets of Misamis
Oriental Province and also known as the whole solves in bulua Cagayan de oro City

LAGONGLONG Misamis Oriental- Cardava

NAAWAN MISAMIS ORIENTAL- Farm Goat

Second to the largest hog farm ( piggeries) around Misamis Oriental, with 27 hectares of farm areas over
100 thousand of piglets growing.

BUKIDNON MISAMIS ORIENTAL- largest corn farm in Northern Mindanao with a total of 120 thousand
farms which utilized 322.8 thousand hectares of land areas.

MISAMIS ORIENTAL- largest hog farms with a total of 45% total hogs among the livestock reared tended
in Northern Mindanao.

Aside other common livestock reared and tendered in Northern in Mindanao, goats (155.2
thousand, Carabaos (124.5 thousand ) and horses (53 thousand)

PAGAHAN MISAMIS ORIENTAL- aside from duck farming activity proposed by the agriculture, Pagahan
choose to raised chicken poultry with 51% of land areas by total of 14.5 million chicken.

GINGOOG MISAMIS ORIENTAL

Best known for mango farm areas, among many lands areas in different barangays mango
supplier in Cagayan de Oro, Bukidnon, Davao and other provinces of Mis.Or.
BURNAY, GITAGUM MISAMIS ORIENTAL

Achieving the 500 hectares of lands, Burnay purchased 1 Million trees of Tobacco to produced a
tobacco farm with many participants from barangays, Libertad was the first supplier of tobacco around
Misamis Oriental and Northern Mindanao.

DAVAO MISAMIS ORIENTAL- known for the largest Durian farm with 176.1 thousand hectares of land
areas composed 233 thousand farm trees, counting and growing. First supplier in many cities around
Northern Mindanao and even in Visayas and Metro Manila

INITAO, MIS.OR.

Known with different farm areas, includes coconut with 75% of land areas in any barangays
followed by mango farm areas with 20% of land areas and the rest was hogs, chicken and corn plants.

EL SALVADOR, MIS. OR.

Known for the largest rice farm with 236 thousand hectares composed 3 Million rice pants with
healthy growing.

MANTICAO MIS. OR.

Has largest Mahogany farm land areas, with 7 thousand hectares over 300 thousand trees and
counting but also involved in coconut farming and rice farming.

LUGAIT MIS. OR

Mango trees are known here and corn crops that many barangays planted. Lugait was known as
distributor of Holcim Cement in Mindanao area.

LAGUINDINGAN MIS. OR.

Best known as the largest “siringgwelas” farm areas with 238.1 thousand areas of land over 737
trees developed.
