ANNOUNCEMENTS
1) Starting today, please join an interactive Study of God's
Word on Sabbath evenings, after lunch. Topics would vary
based on interest, Bible reading and an expansion of the
Sabbath School weekly study.
2) Are you seeking to improve your walk with God and would
like a team of fellow growing Christians to assist you along
your journey? Every Wednesday @ 7:00PM.
3) Parents with Children: The Mother’s room is available for
parents with infants and toddlers. Resources in the room is
not available to your child(ren)
4) Security Reminder - Parents and guardians please be aware
of your child/children whereabouts in church. Your
child(ren) MUST always BE in your company.
5) September 8 - Women's Ministry prayer breakfast 10am at
Teresa's residence 785 Nadine Avenue.
6) September 8 – Pathfinders resumes at 10:00 a.m.
7) September 9 – Next Church Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m.
8) September 11 - Monthly Open House Community Service
from 4 to 7 pm. Setting up is done on Tuesday evening
starting at 5 pm. Volunteers are needed for both dates.

9) September 14 - Guest Speaker Shimilla Reid, Support
Relations Director ADRA Canada. Potluck lunch to follow.
10) September 14 – The Friends of Jesus Adventurer Club
resumes next Sabbath, September 14th from 4:00 p.m. to
5:00 p.m. All families with children ages 4 years old to 9 years
old are invited to join us in the Fellowship Hall for our first
meeting of the 2019 - 2020 club year.
September 9th at the Oakridge Presbyterian Church. Dates are
September 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, and October 7th, 16th, 21st, 28th
from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. Cost is $175 per person. Do you want
to learn how to help someone prone to depression, or do you

12) September 22 - The Golden Agers are inviting all who are age
55 and over (and guests) for a walk. Please meet at Gord and
Kathy Rayner home, 14 Farmhouse Rd. at 11 AM. A potluck
picnic lunch will follow the walk.
13) September 22 - Outreach to the homeless continues!
Volunteers are needed to serve meals to the group. Parking is
available behind the building at 696 Dundas Street Ark Aid
Christian Mission. If you can help, please speak to Teresa
Ferreira.
14) September 25 - ABC Bookmobile will be at the Church, 8 – 9

15) October 4 – 6, 2019 - Men’s Ministries: This year’s retreat is
entitled “RECALIBRATE” and will be at Camp Frenda. Online
registration will open soon. To register log on to,
www.adventistontario.org. (This ministry is being sponsored
by the Ontario Conference).
16) Treasury - Church Giving Made Easy. A debit terminal is
available in the church foyer for your convenience in giving.
Your ongoing faithful financial support to the church is
appreciated.
17) Should you require a pastoral visit at home or in hospital,
please let Pastor Atencio know. The elders and
deacons/deaconesses are also available to visit and pray with
you. Please be aware that due to privacy laws, your
permission is required to include your name on the prayer list
in the bulletin.
