chapter 3 : Methodology

In this chapter the researchers will discuss and show on how are they going
to fo the process of gathering ang collecting datas .This chapter will also be a
guide for them to follow the certain path on how to gain the indented and needed
informations .

Research Design
The study is a type of qualitative research that we use phenomology ; a type
of research design that identify and describe aspects of each individuals
perceptions and reactionsto his and her experience in some detail .Since the
researchers aims to collect and gather informations from the participants with
different view and perceptions on the said topic .

Participants for the study :

The researchers choose SPA (Special Program in the Arts) student to be their
participants for this study .Considering their ideas and point of view to be
indicated in the study .Special Program in the Arts (SPA) students are those
student who are inclined in the industry of arts that look differents art feilds
specially; Visual arts ,Media arts ,Creative writing as part of art production
Theater, Dance, and music in performing arts .SPA student also took academic
subject such as English, Math, Science and others except from TLE (Technology and
Livelyhood Education) .Special Program in the Arts is their subject of
specialization .This might help researcher to justify their study .

Research Instruments
The researchers use survey form to get answers from their participants .In
this part ,the researcher as research instrument also prepair questions with
regards to their study such as their self interpretations and appreciations also
the way they see the art in a piece .They give survey questionaire to their
participants and also make an interview in random students from the Special Program
in the Arts.

Data Gathering Procedure

The first thing that the researchers will do or gathering the datas is giving
a letter that indicates the permission froom the participants .When they approved
the letters the researchers have the permission and they are able now to give their
instrument that they will use to the participants .As a researchers the instruments
that we are going to use are survey and interview .The participants in our topic
are the SPA students that studying here in Bulihan National Highschool .After
collecting the responds of the participants the researchers will transcribe the
answers.

Data Analysis
After the researchers gather the answers from the chosen participants ,the
researchers will code or highlighten the important terms that the participants
responds since this research aims to know different perceptions of the said
particiants .After coding those words ,it will be categorize on its designated
classifications .The the reseachers will elaborate those terms and words .Lastly
,the researchers will come up on how are they going to conceptualize those terms.
