Marketing Specialist

Location of Posting: Across any locations in India where Cognizant is present (flexibility to travel at short
notice is an imperative).
Campaign Management
Experience/Expertise in working within a Digital Marketing (with a focus on Social
Media) environment with fair understanding of the Digital Marketing Landscape
Conceptualize and run end to end Social Media Campaigns
The ability to cross-pollinate online and offline campaigns to maximize ROI
Manage and help to create marketing content to socialize and use for social media
purposes (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from
analysts and customers)
Build and nurture social media platform-specific communities and audiences
Hands-on
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Products (such as Photoshop, Illustrator,
etc.), Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to craft compelling content (both visual and written) that audiences with
limited attention spans can absorb

Contemporary
Understanding of present day marketing trends, tools, methodologies that are used to
achieve both organic and inorganic traffic and mindshare.
Professional Skills
Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams including collaboration with the
marketing, design and technology teams
Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven
atmosphere
Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and ideas
Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to lead projects/business
development requests proactively
Knowledge and/or experience/expertise working with popular social media
monitoring tools (Radian 6, Sysomos, Sprinklr) and popular social media
management tools like (TweetDeck, HootSuite, etc) is a plus
