Globalization affects every aspect of an individual's life including technology,

religion, food, language, music and clothing. As a person who belongs in

Generation Z, I can say that Globalization helps me a lot in different ways and

gives me an opportunity to experience extraordinary things that some older

generation before me didn’t experience. First and foremost, my generation has

experienced the advances in technology and have grown up with the use of

technology. Technology is everywhere and it is advancing as years go on. In

our day to day life, we use technology all the time without even thinking about it.

We use technology to communicate and connect with others around the world,

we use it as teaching tools, in transportation, as well as a form of entertainment.

Everyone has the latest gadgets and without access to these technologies or

any technology for that matter makes a person feel left out and out of the loop of

everything. Furthermore, Globalization amazingly helps me to listen different

genre of music by being able to disburse music all across the world. Right now,

we can enjoy various songs like pop, western music, hip hop and so on not just

OPM. Thanks to globalization because I found K-Pop which one of my

happiness right now. Moreover, because of globalization Filipinos just like me

can savour diverse foods. American fast food chains like McDonald’s, KFC,

Pizza Hut and Carl’s Jr. and others can now enjoy by us without hustle

because its available everywhere. Nowadays, Korean foods like

Sampgyeopsal which is very popular among millennial is now available in

different places in Philippines. Once I tried to eat in korean restaurant and I

can say that their foods were really delicious. Globalization also influence the

fashion sense of many of us. As a result of Filipinos’ knowledge and sense of

fashion are now widen and change. We’re able to try and wear different kinds
of clothes that suit our taste and lifestyle. Clothing also helps us to express

ourselves. Youth often choose clothing to reflect their unique personality.

Marketing is a very influential factor. Through television, magazines, movies,

and teen idols I’ve learned about the new trends and it inspired me to try new

looks that I think suits me. Additionally, we’re now able to buy imported

clothing brands like Nike, Adidas, Forever 21 and many more. Everyone of us

experience globalization without noticing. Globalization has a big impact of

what I am and where I am now. I’m thankful of Globalization becasue I can

learn and experience new things.

ASSIGNMENT:

Key Takeaways: Free Trade

 Free trade is the unrestricted importing and exporting of goods and
services between countries.
 The opposite of free trade is protectionism—a highly-restrictive trade
policy intended to eliminate competition from other countries.
 Today, most industrialized nations take part in hybrid free trade
agreements (FTAs), negotiated multinational pacts which allow for,
but regulate tariffs, quotas, and other trade restrictions.
In the simplest of terms, free trade is the total absence of government

policies restricting the import and export of goods and services.
