A. ACTIVITY REFLECTION
Directions: Write your reflection regarding the activity conducted in the box shown below.
The lecture was about the application of IoT in day-to-day encounters. The
applications that were discussed were Smart Traffic Light, and Home Automation by
Samsung. The use of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless technologies in such applications were
went over throughout the discussion. It was discussed that a network control system is
typically composed of four elements which include the controllers, actuators, sensors, and
the communications networks. Prof. Yu continued the lecture by introducing the two types
of protocol that can be used in a network which composed of the Transmission Control
Protocol (TCP) and User Datagram Protocol (UDP). I learned that TCP is almost the same
with UDP but in terms of their speed, UDP is faster. That is why it is mainly applied in real
time applications such as audio and video streaming.
B. ACTIVITY EVALUATION
