the instructors of PATTS College of Aeronautics on their assigned department with their field
of expertise in terms of mastery, educational attainment when grouped according to their
department and years of work experience, and What are the possible solutions that will pre-empt
the struggles and complications of instructors when allocated to a department far from their field
of expertise
The study made use of the researcher’s survey questionnaire that determined the respondents’
perception regarding the out-of-field teaching in senior high school based on the variable
identified in the study such as instructor’s mastery of the subject matter and educational
attainment. The research was carried out in PATTS College of Aeronautics, Paranaque, and the
demographic of the study was the instructors of PATTS College of Aeronautics, under different
departments. The research design of this study made use of descriptive method with a
quantitative approach. The researchers looked for relevant information that were connected to
the study through the internet and books. The data that was gathered in the study were statistically
treated for proper analysis, frequency count, percentages, and mean scores.
