Effective Annualised Rate of Return (Indicative only): In term of RBI’s monetary and credit
policy guidelines to provide information on effective annualized rate of return on deposits of
various maturities, we give here in below the effective annualized rates of return on Bank’s
cumulative deposit schemes under the Reinvestment Plan on quarterly compounding basis:

SENIOR CITIZENS
The additional interest rate offered at present to Senior Citizens (Public other than staff) on
their Rupee Term Deposits is as under: On deposits of 6 months and less than 5 years an
additional rate of interest of 0.5% p.a. will be applicable. On deposits of 5 years and above an
additional rate of interest of 0.6% p.a. will be applicable
EDUCATION LOAN
ELIGIBILTY Short term cash credit limit for crop production to farmers having
agricultural land and term loan for agriculture and allied activities.
MARGIN NIL
PURPOSE To enlarge coverage of those people who do not have the title
deeds in their names and to redress the problem of Rural Housing
through improved access to housing credit, which would enable
an individual to construct a modest new house to improve or add
to his existing dwelling unit in rural area.
ELIGIBILTY Such people, who are engaged in agriculture, Trade / business and
services etc.
PURPOSE To facilitate the customers in rural & semi urban areas with hassle
fee credit based on the assessment of cash flow without insistence
on security, purpose or end use of the credit.
MARGIN NIL
REPAYMENT This is in the nature of overdraft or cash credit with no end use
verification stipulation. The limit may be reviewed annually and
revised / cancelled depending upon track record of the account
holder.
FARM MECHANISATION
PURPOSE To provide credit facility for purchasing tractor, trolly and other
agricultural implements to perform farm operations smoothly, to
resolve the problem of human labour, to arrange transportation of
agriculture inputs and marketing of agriculture produce quickly.
ELIGIBILTY Such farmers, who are permanent resident in the Bank’s service
area / area of operations and hold 2.5 acre perennially irrigated
agriculture land.
ELIGIBILTY Small and marginal farmers, share croppers etc. having land
holding not exceeding 8.00 acres to 9.25 acres for dry land and
6.75 acres to 7.50 acres for irrigated land depending upon the land
holding criterion of the district. This land ceiling includes the land
to be purchased through this scheme.
QUANTUM OF FINANCE 100% of net annual income. As per area in which the land is to be
purchased, its valuation and development cost.
RATE OF INTEREST 13.50% p.a. upto Rs.5,00,000/-, 14.50% above Rs.5.00 lac
ELIGIBILTY Any major person having bonafide Insurance Policy in his name.
MARGIN 25%
PURPOSE Composite loan for purchase of land / plot / building for Hospital /
Nursing Home and for purchase of medical equipment with
working capital requirement.
QUANTUM OF FINANCE Rs. 100 Lacs of which working capital should not be more than
Rs.10.00 Lacs.
MARGIN 15%
HOUSING LOAN
AMOUNT OF LOAN Rs. 25 Lac in which Rs.5.00 lac is for repair / renovation /
additional construction and Rs.50,000/- for final touch
MARGIN 20%
PURPOSE Financial assistance for setting up Agri Clinic and Agri Business
centers for providing expert advice for better cropping practices,
protection from pests and diseases, market trend and also clinical
services for animal health.

AMOUNT OF LOAN Project cost as per capacity of Rural godown / Cold Storage less
margin.
SUBSIDY 25% to 33.33% of project cost as per capacity of Rural godown / Cold

PURPOSE Agricultural labours who have no agricultural land in their names and
are engaged in farming as tenant farmers / oral lessees.
ELIGIBILTY Group of 5 –20 tenant farmers who are associated in self help groups
for last 3 months and graded according to self help group concept.
AMOUNT OF LOAN Rs.50,000/- per member of the group maximum Rs.5.00 Lacs.

KISAN SAMADHAN CARD
PURPOSE To fulfill entire needs of farmers for short term, medium term
finance including repair of farm machinery, consumption needs.
ELIGIBILTY Kisan Card holders having availed short term and medium term
loan and whose repayment in last 3 years was regular and
satisfactory are eligible under the scheme.
Note For collection between our bank and other banks, the
commission will be shared on 50:50 basis i.e. each branch will
charge 50% of the stipulated commission / service charges at its
end

Note: Even if the standing instructions could not be carried out for
insufficient balance in the account the charge of Rs.50/- is to be
levied. However, standing instructions in respect of the following

1. No processing Charges for fund based or non fund based facilities for staff members.
2. No processing charges in case of Govt. sponsored schemes other than PMEGP. The charges
for PMEGP borrower will be applicable as per Service Charges for SME advance w.e.f
10.10.2011.
3. No service charges are applicable in loan/ OD against Bank’s own deposits.
4. Loan against NSC/KVP flat charges Rs. 100 / which includes lien charges at post office plus
actual conveyance charges for making lien over NSCs / KVPs.
Note: In order to mobilize and acquire high value business, the Bank, sometimes waives certain
service charges. Accordingly, to attract and bring high value business to the Bank, the Chairman
as well as the General/Regional Managers are authorized to waive off the service charges as per
details given below:
