FORTHNIGHT REPORT OF TEACHER SUPERVISORS FOR THE

MONTH OF JULY

1ST BAPTIST PRIMARY SCHOOL AGO ARE


The school was visited in team for proper monitoring of classroom works and activities.
The teachers were supervised in their individual classes. It was observed that learning process
was in order. All their statutory records were kept and updated in accordance with the
curriculum modules. The headtachers marked the record of works of teachers assigned to them
accordingly.

The learners were participating actively in the lesson. Their notes were copied legibly,
checked and marked by their respective teachers. They assignment given to them were done
and marked by the teachers. The school compound was neat and kept tidy.

General comment:

 Teachers were enjoined to give writing exercise for the pupils on daily basis and should
be submitted for marking.
 Appropriate instructional materials should be provided for use
 Teachers should make reading mandatory for learners in the school and at their various
homes
 Usage of rulers should be made compulsory for teachers and the learners.

NUD PRIMARY SCHOOL, AGO ARE


Both teachers and pupils were punctual and regular in school. The class activities were
monitored in all the classes supervised. The statutory records kept were adequate the missing
ones were demanded for and asked to be updated by the teachers concerned. The learners
were ready for work while the teachers were encouraged to handle the learners as their own
wards. The teachers were advised to give learners enough and adequate works based on the
curriculum for each class.

The teachers were also mandated to be using available textbooks for English studies
especially in reading comprehension. Reading should be given recognized importance so
as to facilitate effective learning. The headteacher was encouraged to take cognizance
of the school and allow his assistance to take care of their duties in the school.

Comment:
 Teachers were asked to be using appropriate instructional materials always
 Give learners home assignment on writing to improve their handwriting
 Appropriate reading on the part of the learners both in the school and at home

BAPTIST PRIMARY SCHOOL OFIKI


The school was visited in team to check the school the class work activities and monitor
the learning process. All their statutory records were kept adequately based on the
curriculum modules. The teachers dispensed their lessons correctly while the learners
responded positively. The continuous assessment were done and recorded. The
headteacher checked the records of works of teachers in the school while the learners
note were checked and duly marked by the class teachers. Class control and
management in the school was excellent. The pupils were neatly dressed while the
school compound was kept clean and tidy.
General comment:
 Using of instructional materials should be encouraged
 Learners were to be assigned with handwriting to aid and improve their writing skills
 Teachers should always encourage the learners to read with the guidance of teachers
this will help improve the learners reading skills

ADS PRIMARY SCHOOL IRAWO ILE


The school was visited in team by the teacher supervisors to see to the smooth and
effective running of school activities and academics. All classes were supervised the
statutory records were kept by the teachers marked by their headteachers. The grade books
were checked and we noticed the continuous assessment had been conducted and
recorded accordingly by the teachers and marked by the headteachers.

General comment:

 Teachers were advised to be using appropriate instructional materials


 The learners were advised to be reading at home for adequate examination process
 Teachers were to give take home assignment on writing to improve the learners
handwriting.
