THE CONSTITUTION OF THE DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF SRI LANKA

Notification

IT is hereby notified that the notification issued by me in the exercise of powers vested in me under Paragraph (1) of
Article 43 and Paragraph (1)(a) of Article 46 of the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and
published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 2103/33 of December 28, 2018 and amended by time to time, is further
amended with effect from September 09, 2019 in the manner set out in the Schedule below :-

whilst ensuring national security through the use of audio visual media, enhancement of the entertainment
quality of the people and creation of a higher media culture using state-of-the-art technology.
