Positioning helps establish your product's or service's identity within the eyes of the
purchaser. A company's positioning strategy is affected by a number of variables related
to customers' motivations and requirements, as well as by its competitors' actions. In
this portion, detailed information about the channel strategy that was chosen is
indicated on how to utilize it properly by the owner and its advantage that would provide
business in general. Channel strategy may vary depending on what type business will
establish whereas Puso burger shopfront is most suitable for the business because of
its function and location. Storefront is very effective since the customers has the
opportunity to look over the product and as questions about the product whether it is
necessary or not. Through this channel type it easily connects with the customers
because the customers has the advantage to see how the product is done and the
business’ function.
A storefront or shopfront is the facade or entryway of a retail store located on the
ground floor or street level of a commercial building, typically including one or more
display windows. A storefront function is to attract visual attention to a business and its
merchandise. A good location is important to the success of a retail business. For small
businesses, the advantages to opening a retail store in a busy area can include
improved revenue and increased marketing exposure. But for a small business on a
budget, the advantages to a busy location can outweigh the extra costs. And this can
also help boosting the attraction of the business because the product is easily seen by
the customer therefore, there is a chance of them buying the product by its visual and
smell.
The group composed of only three varieties of selling product which are the burger with
barbecue sauce, or with garlic mayo and the business’ specialty which is the breakfast
burger. Customers nowadays tend to buy burger with different varieties, some customer
want spicy sensation yet with the touch of sweetness the barbecue sauce fits for their
preference, but some just want a plain texture of sauce yet full of flavor the garlic mayo
may fit for that kind of taste, some customer may vary on breakfast burgers hence the
puso breakfast burger is perfect to start their day. These selling product were based not
only on the preferences of the customer but also the researchers as a consumer. The
researchers concluded to this product to sell in order to meet with the expectations and
needs of the target market.
The group targeted two percentage which is 85% for storefront and 15% for delivery.
the product serves as a ”to-go meal” considering that the target customers has a busy
lifestyle. Filipinos tend to have a busy lifestyle, to lessen their time they tend to buy food
that requires a short time to prepare and you can eat almost everywhere. The business
also offers free delivery wherein the customer can request the product to deliver to their
respective location, this will help to boost the sales since most of the customer prefer
their food to be delivered.
The Puso Burger business decided to use storefront and delivery as their channel type
because it is the most effective way to sell product that is new to the market. Moreover,
this channel type is easier and it has a quick method. The business is established in
CSA old canteen for the whole week of simulation. Storefront can attract more
customers since it is an open space kiosk where the customers could easily notice, for
the delivery the customer can order the product without exerting effort to go on the
storefront. The strategy of this channel is to create maximum awareness and
engagement towards the target customers.
