Objective
 Magna Industries – Foundry Division - is a foundry with an objective of becoming a
most preferred supplier of critical shell molded cast iron, ductile iron and Si-Mo
castings. We are a part of Samarth Magna Group of Industries. Magna Group will
grow its business transparently and ethically with the aim of value creation &
inclusive prosperity for all our stake holders

 At Magna MFD, we have strive to achieve customer satisfaction through our product
quality and delivery performance. Our diverse customer base is spread across various
segments such as braking system, emission gas regulators (EGR), fuel and water
pumps, power transmission and hydraulic and oil filtration applications. We
have established our position as a reliable source of precise and critical castings for
both Indian and international customers.

achieve a turnover of Rs.100 crores with 12%
profitability.

Magna Industries foundry division shall supply precision
Automotive, Agriculture, Off road vehicles cast and
machined components in CI, SG and SiMo grade in the
weight range from 250 gms to 30 kg with emphasis on
reliability and reputation

 Samarth Magna Group is in business of foundry chemicals, pre-coated shell sand and
Three foundries (Two shell moulding foundries& Heavy engineering casting). Group
turnover for the year 2018-2019 exceeded Rs 105 crores (i.e 1050 million).

 Promoted by group of 3 metallurgists & a chemical engineer having a combined


experience of more than 78 years in foundry engineering, methoding, shell molding,
defect analysis and prevention.

 Top management involved in day to day monitoring, particularly design & development,
quality system and customer satisfaction.

 All units (12 manufacturing locations) in the group are ISO 9001 accredited. Magna
foundry manufactures a SG Iron & Cast Iron castings & is IATF16949 certified Foundry. The
group is enjoying confidence of more than 150 ISO9000/ IATF 16949customers
Manufacturing facilities
 Moulding - Upgraded Moulding machines and core shooters from Susha Engineers
Surat.

 Melting – 550 kw/500kg Electrotherm furnace having approximate melting rate of


650 kg/hr

 Pattern making -The firm has tied up with reputed pattern shops in the area

 In-house solidification simulation - RWP Germany (Within the group)

 Internal shot blasting machine - For cleaning intricate internal passages

 Sand reclamation – 100% of the waste sand is thermally reclaimed and reused

 Hence, Magna is practically a zero solid waste producing foundry

 Machining facility - The foundry has a IATF16949 machining facility with latest
imported machining centres. We can supply fully finished components. Upgradation
of the machine shop has already been started.
