MESSAGE FROM THE
PRESIDENT
HEY, Propsective AIESECer! How are you
feeling?

Whether you’re about to experience your

first year in the Ateneo or you’ve been
collecting org stickers ever since you came
to see MVP, I hope you know that I am
excited for you for choosing to go further
with AIESEC. In the next few pages and
weeks, you’ll be given the opportunity to
learn more about what we do in AIESEC: to
which I only have two pieces of advice.

Firstly, strive for excellence. In AIESEC, we

handle and interact with different
stakeholders ranging from partners,
communities, exchange participants, down
to our own members. It is through such
experiences that we willingly uphold
integrity and determination in our work -
looking to build our skills whilst learning
and growing with others. It is a brand of
excellence that I would consider as humble
yet confident at the same time.

Secondly, connect unlimitedly. In this

organization, you will have support systems
and pathways that will allow you to connect
to your immediate department/team,
family, and even people from other entities
and countries. It is my belief that these
connections will perfect your stay in
AIESEC - as they will be the people you’ll be
with while you’re at this amazing yet
challenging journey. With this, I invite you
to never stop envisioning new horizons.

With us, further your impact and never look

back.
WHAT IS
AIESEC?
AIESEC equips its members with the
edge of a global network, bona fide
work experience, and professional
leadership opportunities that we can
also apply to our own countries. Unlike
any other Atenean organization, AIESEC
operates around the development of
leadership through incoming and
outgoing exchange operations. Our
members give people a chance to see
the world and manifesting that
leadership by doing something about it
in the Philippines - because when you
see it, you can start to understand it;
and when you understand it, you can
start to change it.

Beyond its established platform,

however, AIESEC is defined by its
members. AIESECers are fueled with
passion, driven by ambition, and
grounded in a common vision to do
more and be more. This organization is
not only a place to develop yourself, but
also a spirited, supportive, and
hardworking community that is
determined to grow with you.

AIESEC aims for “peace AIESEC is the world’s largest youth-run

organization present in over 124
and fulfillment of countries with more than 88,000
members worldwide. AIESEC AdMU is a
humankind’s potential” university-level branch of AIESEC and
We believe such can be achieved by developing continues to be the top performing local
the leadership capacity of every young person committee in the country.
around the globe
WHAT IS EXCHANGE?
Through cross cultural exchange, AIESEC believes that individuals can activate
leadership by learning about different cultures and applying this knowledge
into a local setting.

WHAT ARE OUR PRODUCTS?

Global Volunteer is a 6-8 week volunteer program that gives you a cross-
cultural experience to develop yourself and give a positive impact to the
world.

Global Talent gives you a chance to work as an intern abroad for 6-78 weeks
where you are given the platform to enhance and develop your professional
skills.

Global Entrepreneur is a 6-12 week non-paid internship in a start-up

company that can help develop your professional skills.

If you’re interested to go on exchange, message Alex David or check out aiesec.org for the thousands of
opportunities available for you!
AIESEC LEADERSHIP
DEVELOPMENT QUALITIES
THE LEADERSHIP WE DEVELOP
In AIESEC, we believe that the youth plays a
tremendous role in shaping our future. For this
reason, every challenge, project and experience
that we provide, we strive to develop youth leaders
with the following qualities.

Ability to empower others: Communicates clearly,

engages in meaningful conversations, and creates
spaces that empower others to take action.

Solution Oriented: Flexible, ready to take risks,

and actively finds solutions to challenges.

Self Aware: Aware of global events and enjoys

taking an active role in contributing towards
making it a better place for everyone.
"We enable young people to develop their
leadership through learning from practical
World Citizen: Understands personal strengths,
experiences in challenging environments."
lives by his/her values and constantly explores
passions.

YOUTH LEADERS TOWARDS

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Through AIESECs Youth for Global Goals movement, the organization aligns all its initiatives
and projects to the fulfillment of the 17 sustainable development goals
AIESEC's CORE
COMPETENCIES
AIESEC's two core competencies are
cross-cultural exchange and
leadership development.

Firstly, AIESEC, being the world’s largest youth-run

organization, strives to provide its members and the
youth several spaces for cross-cultural
understanding. Through its core products of Global
Volunteer, Global Talent, and Global Entrepreneur,
both AIESECers and non-AIESECers are given the
chance to go through life-changing exchange
experiences spanning six weeks up to a year. During
this period, exchange participants are immersed in a
unique local learning environment where they get to
understand and realize the realities of where they
are and equally bring their realizations back home.

Secondly, regardless of which role or department

one may be in, AIESECers are supported and
expected to thrive in teams of various sizes and
functions, thereby allowing them to lead and be led
by peers who are willing to guide them in learning
practically as individuals. Whether you are in
Business Development working on corporate
partnerships, arranging projects and servicing
exchange participants in Incoming Exchange, or
handling teams through Talent Management, growth
and development is an understatement in the
organization. There are just as many opportunities
and spaces for people to understand themselves,
build skills to better equip oneself, and lead the
change in the organization.
