be profitable

• There is no such joy in the world but to see your name on the big screen.
• This is the best time to make a queer film and capture the moment. Who
knows what all can happen.
• Great opportunity to present the film physically at festivals, screenings
etc and interact with the audience and filmmakers and further your
network.
• Great opportunity to learn the art of making movies in India if you are
new to the industry and then use the experience to make a feature film.
THE RISE OF THE INDIAN
QUEER
• This is the moment when the LGBTQ community of
India is on a rise. They want to be heard and they want
to tell their own story.
• In a major verdict, Section 377 of Indian Penal Code
which criminalised homosexuality in India has been
termed irrational by the supreme court of India, bringing
respect and existence to the Indian queer.
• The existence of queer in mainstream content like Made
in Heaven, Bombay Talkies, Four More Shots and above
all, Ek Ladki ko Dekha toh tells a lot about the upcoming
queer stories in India
• Recently India's national sprinter Dutee Chand becomes
the first sportstar to come out as a queer.
