ABSTRACT (EXECUTIVE SUMMARY)

After attending the Course for Certified Environmental Professional in

Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM) and completing the Field
Training Report, I notice that there are many improvements that can be

xi
implemented in the company towards better managing Scheduled Wastes.
These improvements need to be carried out in accordance with the laws and
regulations, rules and orders.

I’m confident to explain and implement the legal requirements for scheduled
waste management. All the Scheduled Waste generated by the company
can be identified, classified and categorized. Besides this, I can implement
effective scheduled waste management practices and formulate an
implementation plan for full compliances with the regulatory requirements of
the Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations, 2005.

All employees are aware of the importance of reducing as much scheduled

wastes as possible. In case wastes are generated, they are now have better
understanding in handling and managing these wastes in a more proper
manner.
